exactly. He will have a hard time convincing the prosecutor that he had 0 idea what was afoot while in the perps car. This is a hard sell.

He will be seen as complicit in this because he kept silent about it. He didn't come forth out of some awakening of conscience, he was identified and now he's the connection to the 1st degree murderer.

Do you think there will not be an outcry about this if Goodell doesn't go full force on him?
 
If you watch the fight video I am pretty sure the guy in the white hoodie is Kelvin throwing the wild punches. The sleeves even look like they have the markings like the video of him in the elevator. This is not going to play well for him and pretty sure he is done.

The only way this doesn't end well for him is if he's the guy who shot the gun.

So if KJ told someone in that vehicle... Shoot at those guys when we pass by. Then he'll be charged with murder. And the same goes for the driver. The other guys in that SUV will be allowed to walk, because they didn't take part in the crime. So the law of parties may not apply to everyone in that SUV.

100%^. The issue KJ will have will be convincing the DA he had 0 knowledge. Its nearly unfathomable that he didn't know.

He was with the guys, but no clue if he was actually in the car...

Yeah, he was in the car, but did he pull the trigger that caused that boys death...

Yeah it was dumb of him not to get out in front of all of this by going to the cops as soon as humanly possible. But guys cover for their buds all the time. I've never understood that stupid misguided sense of loyalty some guys feel to protect their "boys" even when they do horrible stuff. But that's not something you or I can fix. One aspect I've not seen discussed however is where these "homies" came from. If they are from Joseph's "hood" then they may be the sort to threaten any family members still in the area from whence they came if he speaks up. I don't know anything about his background but I do know that was a consideration in the Ray Lewis situation. Lewis was not worried so much about himself but about people he cared about back home who he could not protect. Not saying I think it's right.. just that I understand how that plays out sometimes. Joseph was not a multimillion dollar bonus baby.. so he likely has not earned enough coin to move all his family out of wherever he grew up. Hell a lot of family member are too proud or too stubborn to move anyway.. My dad refuses to leave the run down place where he lives even as the area is being gentrified like hell and the owners of the apartment buildings there are purposely letting the places deteriorate to force people to move out so they can sell to big dollar developers who wanna put in high end shopping malls and the like. But all his friends are there... He has lived in the area for 50+ years. He aint leavin .. so we have given up trying to convince him.

He was never a good player. He was a measurables guy. He could run and jump like a first round pick so Jerry thought he stole him...........and we were in a position of being desperate for a CB. No way KJ was the next guy up on our board that early in round 2. He was a gansta wannbe rapper. Thats his passion not football. Thats why he would have been a mid round pick if Jerrah hadn't swooped in and tried to outwit smarter people.

If you chase someone out into the street and they get killed by an unexpecting driver. The person who chased him will get charged with murder. The driver will go that day.

If you and your buddy were chasing a guy down and you run him into the street. And he gets accidentally hit and killed by the car your buddy was driving, you and him will be charged with murder.

There's a big difference in knowing about the crime and not knowing about it. If you know about it then you'll be charged.

So what happens if no one in the car will name the shooter? They all are going to say that they had no idea someone was going to get killed. Lets assume that they stick to their story. Do they all walk free or do they all go to jail?
 
He’s done in Dallas. They’re just waiting for the legal process to play out to where they can use it to void his contract. Irregardless of being the shooter or not, no team is associating with this.
