Lol. You know how it is CCB, some things just never change for certain posters. How about starting a discussion without just using a decades old *****...
To each his own but just saying, this is exactly the approach this team has taken for years. If they continue to do that this time, with a new Coaching Staff, what has really changed. Be easy if that is what you want to do but you can't complain in you are complicit in acceptance of the problem. That's all I'm saying.

But we endure WHATEVER they like to avoid a big fight!
I'm absolutely baffled. What did he say that had anything to do with some decades old prejudice...and prejudice against what?
Okay, well that's 100x better than I could have come up with! LolIm takin a stab at this Runny. CC was speaking on the depth of our defensive roster when using Skeleton , Woodson turned it to the decades old complaint of us not having beef up front to be able to stop the run with his skeletons comment .
CC took exception because his comment had nothing to do with the original subject of defensive roster depth just a dig at the defense .
Ok I tried but may be way off base
The defense needs a lot of changes personnel wise. Trysten Hill has been a bust so far but you don’t give up on a 2nd rd pick after 1 year. If he has a chance of changing his mental outlook, then good coaching can make that happen. As for the rest of the defense, there are some good players to build around. DL, Jaylon, LVE. I think Luke Gifford is going to have an impact if he can stay healthy. He’s kinda small for a LB which is the same I said about Sean Lee when he was drafted. Anxious to see how Awuzie and Jourdan Lewis play with new coaching. No doubt though there are going to be many changes on the defensive side of the ball this year.Dallas Cowboys: A sobering two-deep defensive look before free agency

SKELETON CREW ON DECK
Of course there will be multiple signings, re-signings, and draft additions to fill in the holes, but still … wow. Talk about a skeleton crew manning the deck guns.
Three defensive ends and two defensive tackles is scary seeing the 2019 Cowboys roster was carrying 10 players at those positions. Only two of the five remaining were significant factors on the latest defense. Linebacker has four players remaining with only two who played regularly. Covington took 28 defensive snaps and Gifford had zero. It’s worth mentioning Vander Esch will be coming off a concerning neck surgery. Only two starting corners remain while Burton recorded just three snaps. Safety is depleted down to one returning starter, Wilson with his 16 snaps, and zero depth...
Ring tap stereotype...carry on as usual.
I really dont have a clue either just took a blind stab . Maybe he will clear this mystery up later or at least let me know how far off base I am LOLOkay, well that's 100x better than I could have come up with! Lol
Still have no clue what he was saying to me...or why.
drafthistory suggests you are very wrong.Yeah the 2 deep is crap and some of the starters need to be replaced: #25, #24...#54, #55 might be injury concerns just to add to the situation.
All you hear is when Dak n Amari getting signed. This organization refuses to field a good defense. They have habitually neglected defense in favor of offense and that strategy has been fruitless. This season DAL had a top ranked offense, yet finished 8-8.
Offense is fine... actually they've gone overboard on offensive resources. Time to build a tough, nasty defense...it's past time.
Coded message solved;
It was around that time that jazz tap dance developed as a musical form parallel to jazz ... Jigging competitions featuring buck-and-wing dances, shuffling ring dances, and ... The step also refers to the minstrel stereotype of the old and shuffling ...
I’m complicit?!? I haven’t invested a nickel, they don’t consult me, I’m just an old ******* rooting for laundry. Also, I can complain whenever I want, considering the fact that my opinion is irrelevant to everyone except me!
My opinion is this...the Cowboys are gonna be very different in 2020, and I’m intrigued by the possibilities!
Players on 2020 roster making $3M or more:drafthistory suggests you are very wrong.

That's 9 out of 15 premium draft resources used on this defense.
They just haven't had the same luck they did on offense with Dak.
That'd be akin to finding a double digit sack guy in R4 and hasn't happened.
All that said, yes the offense is largely complete. You need a TE and then just to resign your own guys.
The defense is an overhaul but the key pieces are in place if they will actually play more aggressively.
Yeah, if the status quo is OK with you and you, then I'd describe that as complicit but hey, if you don't like that term, thats fine.
If we are waiting to sign players or make moves that late into the Off Season, that's not much of a change. It's a bit of a status quo situation. Those things need to change in order for us to get better IMO. If you don't love how we've done things in the past, then this will not represent change. If you are OK with
it, then expect more of the same things, regardless of regime change.
Complicit implies something’s wrong, like a mistake was knowingly made. Guilty by association. The only thing I expect is some people will remain consistently positive, while others will gravitate towards perpetual misery.
Optimistic folks can still have standards.
