Dallas Cowboys Drafted More Pro Bowlers Than Any Other NFL Team Over Last 10 Years
http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2016...rs-than-any-other-nfl-team-over-last-10-years

When the NFL announced this year's 88 Pro Bowl starters and reserves on Tuesday, five Cowboys players made the initial Pro Bowl roster, three linemen (Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin) and two rookies (Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott).

We know that the initial Pro Bowl roster is not set in stone, as injured players, dropouts, and players participating in the Super Bowl are replaced by alternates. Last year for example, 43 of the 88 players initially selected were eventually replaced by alternates for various reasons. So there's still a chance more Cowboys could be added to the list - in the unlikely event that they won't be playing in the Super Bowl, of course.

For the purposes of today's post, I'll stick with the initial list of 88 names. And that list brings the number of future Pro Bowlers drafted by the Dallas Cowboys over the last 10 years to 13 players. Here's the full list of those 13 players:...

*(some actual and good comparisons under Jerry Jones)

And we are absolutely pathetic in the playoffs

Rootie toot...and losing because of a still unjustified rule removing a touchdown, against Green Bay. And this year, a three second field goal...you are one with such a cutting and golden tongue.

This season, the burn barrel buddies need to just show some respect.

Jerry Jones, is now in the Hall of Fame...and voted for by the media. What, they are pro Cowboys now?

Jason Garrett was voted the Coach of the Year by the NFL...that isn't real?

Dak Prescott was Offensive Rookie of the Year and set a whole book full of NFL, all time records.

The Dallas offensive line voted the Top Offensive Line group in the NFL...again by that same NFL.

Zeke Elliott was the top rushing back, by a large margin, in the entire NFL.

I'm not even giving tacet support for what right now, is just disrespect.

None of that matters utimately. Id trade it all to taste what NE had last night.

Whatever the scenario, whatever the reason, we dont win the playoffs anymore. Until proven otherwise, Im not sure how anyone can argue it

I don't think pathetic is a fitting word. It isn't like we get blown out, except against Minnesota. We just find a way to lose, and sometimes with the help of a slick ball in Seattle or a catch/non-catch in Green Bay. The playoffs are unforgiving of mistakes or bad officiating calls and we've had our share of both to contribute to our lack of success going back to that Seattle game, where a bad coaching decision by Parcells to not attack that secondary contributed to keeping that game close allowing the non-rubbed ball to be an issue.

At least the goalposts have moved. Not long ago we were stupid homers for suggesting the team drafts well. Then we couldn't get over .500 because of the head coach. Now it's that we can't win in the playoffs. Eventually, maybe we'll get to hear a bunch of hilarious posts about how they like to eat their crow regarding playoff wins, and it'll all be good. We can just pretend it doesn't really matter.

Pity they can't use those Pro Bowlers to create a successful playoff team.

The real "crybabies" are the ones who can't handle both sides of the equation.

They're all in for the 'pat on the back' part where the Cowboys are praised for having 'all of these Pro Bowlers'.

But they can't handle the 'kick in the pants' part where someone then asks why - despite all of these Pro Bowlers - they still can't manage to win when it truly counts?

This is only because the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest like American Idol.

Will the Jerry and Garret apologists please wake me up when the NFL starts giving out SB trophies to the teams that "drafts most pro bowlers"?

If anything this is an even greater indictment of Garrett that he can't take all these pro bowlers and even make the NFC CG
