He won't mention Romo because that's his hero.Purdy has more playoff wins than Jaylen Hurts, Justin Herbert, Trevor Lawrence, and Deshaun Watson.
So what's your point?
Exactly. Not buying any merchandise or going to the stadium. What other successful organization is run with the owners as GMs?This is a big reason I have never visited AT&T Stadium and never plan to. ****** ownership.
The tweet is about the QB. The face of the franchise.Didn't Diggs roll out of the way of tackling Kittle which would have been a dropped pass instead of a massive gain? Didn't Diggs drop an interception that hit him in the hands? Schultz wasted 20 seconds at the end because he didn't get out of bounds correctly? Zeke did zero in the running game? Nobody other than Cee Dee could get open?
Dak was trash last night, so singling him out publicly is nonsense and makes zero sense. You are literally creating even more chaos in the locker room and creating a very uncomfortable environment and you are lowering his trade value if you want to get rid of him.
We did the exact same nonsense with Amari, letting reports float around that he was lazy or a locker room distraction and we couldn't do nothing but get a 5th rounder for him.
30 years of mediocrity and failure and you're seeing the perfect example of it right now. Philly's front office didn't blast Wentz with all that was going on with him and managed to get a 1st rounder for a qb they wanted to get rid of.
Zero chance that came from the top. That’s someone who runs the social getting cute with a tweetOh I highly doubt that. I'm 99% sure that came from the top. They were given the green light. In the past his contract was absolutely not up for discussion among Cowboys media staff. Now they are ripping him.
We're going to know fairly quickly. When FA starts (well when the rest of the league starts FA since we don't engage it) if they do not restructure his contract then we'll know it's over and we're going to wait it out with him and then cut him when cap allows it.Dak is going to be on somewhat of a hot seat next season. His contract will be up at the end of the 2024 season so if the INT’s and inconsistent play continue next season, it’s going to be interesting to see what the Joneses do after next season.
True, but Jerry can shut it down or force them to delete it. The fact that he hasn't should be concerning.Zero chance that came from the top. That’s someone who runs the social getting cute with a tweet
Did we trade for a Franchise QB?Guaranteed the late great Coach Tom Landry, GM Tex Schramm and Coach Jimmy Johnson would never have approved of such a bogus, immature, irresponsible and disrespectful social media tweet from this organization against any player, much less their star franchise QB.
Look at Jerry's post game interview. He said the same thing about the turnovers.Zero chance that came from the top. That’s someone who runs the social getting cute with a tweet
Go get a brain seriously, you’re part of the problem. That you can’t see he had protection all night, had wide open wr, under-threw and overWell, responsibility should start with this organization. Supply your franchise QB with some bona-fide weapons and a decently good/healthy Oline, along with much better coaching and playcalling. You know just like the 49ers and Eagles have done for their QBs.
He has a no trade clause for some odd reason. He can play how he wants to play now.Didn't Diggs roll out of the way of tackling Kittle which would have been a dropped pass instead of a massive gain? Didn't Diggs drop an interception that hit him in the hands? Schultz wasted 20 seconds at the end because he didn't get out of bounds correctly? Zeke did zero in the running game? If they don’t restructure his contract that doesn’t mean it’s over. I can promise you they’re not about to cut him or let him walk in free agency unless they have a viable option to replace him. Jerry didn’t move on from Romo until Dak took over and had a great rookie season in 2016. The Joneses aren’t about to go through QB hell trying to find a viable starter. They’re not about to make the mistake Washington did and end up wasting draft picks trying to find a QB. If Washington had a viable QB they would be making the playoffs just about every year because they’ve had some good defenses. They made a big mistake moving on from Kirk Cousins. It resulted in them wasting a first round pick on Dwayne Haskins and giving up picks for Carson Wentz. Kirk Cousins may not be great, but he’s been leading Minnesota to the playoffs just about every year. You simply can’t leave yourself without a viable QB or you’ll miss the playoffs every season and waste draft picks trying to find one. We're going to know fairly quickly. When FA starts (well when the rest of the league starts FA since we don't engage it) if they do not restructure his contract then we'll know it's over and we're going to wait it out with him and then cut him when cap allows it.
As far as the tweet today goes, there has always been a coddling of Dak. Everyone taking the blame or redirecting things off of Dak. This tweet is a behavior change and in any relationship if a behavior change occurs then the relationship has been altered. That's what is telling about this tweet IMO.
I wouldn’t bet on that unless he’s reduced his INTs and is playing more consistently in 2023. I certainly can’t see them paying him more than what he’s making now if his up and down play continues. If he doesn’t play more consistently next season, it’s going to lead to a dilemma.I’m willing to be that Dak gets a new deal sometime in 2023. That will help with the present salary cap, and it will quell any thought of the Cowboys moving on from him after the 2024 season.
Yep - nothing left to do now but cash $80M worth of checks.Dak has lost the team and the fans he is done
It’s not on fire because they don’t have a viable option to replace him. If we had a QB behind him that was showing some real promise then his seat would be a lot hotter.Somewhat? That ***** is on fire!
LMAO. They're just as tired of his s**t as we are. He completes more passes to the other team than his own. That's weak.
Any functional organization reprimands their employees in private....not out in front of other people.
So Jerry says he's invested in Dak when asked on camera, but Dallas website rips him?
That just means management is too dysfunctional and cowardly to sit him down like a grown man in private....they have to do it through anonymous tweets.
So lame...even if what they said was correct
Nobody is giving up a firstGood cause we as fans feel the same way. I’d rather ride with cooper rush and a run game than this hero ball this idiot insists on playing every week
Get a first rounder for him and move on
They released Mike White that was the closest thing to competition based on recent performance with the Jets. It’s not on fire because they don’t have a viable option to replace him. If we had a QB behind him that was showing some real promise then his seat would be a lot hotter.
Seems to be an extremely rare commodity seeing as there are 10 OC spots vacant right now.Not defending Dak in the least….but our WR’s run some lazy routes. The coordination sucks. It needs to be better. Quinn has lapped circles around this team on D. It’s time for an OC that can do the same.
