Dak has lost the team and the fans he is done
I don't know if I will go this far.......to say he's lost the team and is done is a bit much IMO. But I will say he's severely wounded and has probably lost support from his team, especially some defensive players.

Been saying .........he may as well get used to it. It comes with the territory of $40M not consistently producing at a high level.

The real twist in this sword is that he'd already fallen on it and accepted 100% of the blame for the loss. The tweet can be factual but was it necessary?

He was willing to take that chance to get that deal. If he thought the expectations of the team and fans didn't go up with that contract, he was badly mistaken.

Yep, even fans like me, who were willing to give Dak this year, with a healthy team and having been to the playoffs last year to start off. But still, he needed to get better, but the year is past, and he didn't get better.

Just like Garrett, at some point you have to move on from the coach/player, that time has come. It came before now for some, I know, but I'm speaking about myself and a couple of other Cowboys' fans I know....

It's in poor taste and the fact that it's still up is trash. It tells me that Stephen and Jerry are done with Dak. They sabotaged him starting with the Cooper trade knowing when he failed all the blame would go on him and McCarthy. They would duck responsibility and accountability. It's working.
They won't be able to dunk accountability if Dak is released and they get a new QB, just for this franchise to be in the exact same shot 5-10 seasons from now. They would still have to explain why they continue to get the same failing results with different QBs.

True, but Jerry can shut it down or force them to delete it. The fact that he hasn't should be concerning.
jerry likely has no idea it’s out there until after the fact at which points it’s too late. It’s also not really that bad. They were self inflicted wounds.

No question .........I'm still shaking my head how/why about his play on Sunday. What's crazy is he didn't have to be elite Sunday, just pretty good for us to win. As I have said before, the 2 interceptions don't bother me as much as the final drive with 3 min to play. Knowing everything at stake for his team, fans, and career ( to an extent ) he blew through 3 plays and 47 seconds showing little or no passion, drive, or motivation. Hell, interceptions happen

That's weak.

Any functional organization reprimands their employees in private....not out in front of other people.

So Jerry says he's invested in Dak when asked on camera, but Dallas website rips him?

That just means management is too dysfunctional and cowardly to sit him down like a grown man in private....they have to do it through anonymous tweets.

So lame...even if what they said was correct
Might be the first step in nudging him toward waiving that "no trade" clause ....

If you think 0 year old jerry is directing the social media team on what to tweet you’re mistaken. He has no clue
He has his hands on everything in the organization, whether directly or indirectly. The Tweet is still up and has gone viral so I rest my case.

An honest and well-deserved account of what happened against SF. Those taking offense and saying someone should lose their job are nothing but Dak fans and it's high time someone calls out Dak for making stupid mistakes after 7 seasons and getting the big money.

I love the fact that even the people who are bothered by it acknowledge that it's totally 100% accurate and factual.

this is where we are as a society.
You shouldn't publicly proclaim the truth, because it might offend an overrated millionaire or perhaps hurt his feelings.

Good grief.

Well, responsibility should start with this organization. Supply your franchise QB with some bona-fide weapons and a decently good/healthy Oline, along with much better coaching and playcalling. You know just like the 49ers and Eagles have done for their QBs.
Well, they had Amari, but he hurt Dak's feelings so Jerry made him go away.

Our own players, front office, social media, National broadcasters with major experience, all being hard on Thad's brother are WRONG. It was someone else's fault.....

That’s pretty low rent, regardless of how you feel about Dak. That’s not how an organization (NFL franchise or otherwise) should operate. Reprimanding employees in public is always poor form.
I see this differently. The common theme here is that Dak has underperformed. Dak held the team hostage with his contract demands. What is wrong with putting the shoe on the other foot.

Everyone knows Dak let the team down and has done so against almost every good team. I say put the pressure squarely where it belongs. On Dak. Enough coddling.

Should we pretend this is not all on Dak like the emperors new clothes.

Like some have directly said or eluded to we are in a society that places feelings before facts so when someone is held accountable for poor performance it is seen as bullying or attacking.
The excuse train for Dak has run its course and it's time, as you said, to place the blame squarely on the shoulders of Dak......and finally many are seeing Dak for what kind of QB he truly is and holding him accountable.
