No, it's a very poor measuring stick. Many many players have been paid a ton who were not good simply because they had potential. Doesn't mean they were good because they got paid. Taco is just as good as Gregory at this point. Same player.

It would have been infinitely better if we signed Dalvin Tomlinson, picked up the guard Bergaron in the 1st, and moved Tyler Smith to LT instead of re-signing Tyrone. That was the obvious play but Stephen “we like our guys” Jones will never spend money on an outside free agent.
