Dallas needs better QB play

Good to above good offensive linemen?!? What?!? He generally had trash OLs until they started to rebuild it in 2011 with drafting Tyron, but their interior OL was trash in 2011 and 2012 and then they drafted Frederick in 2013 and Martin in 2014. Romo finally had a VERY solid OL in 2014 and you saw the results. Injury in 2015 and then Dak was handed a Mercedes in 2016.

Doesn't matter. Dak got further than Romo ever did in the playoffs. Facts matter. Can't re-write history on me.....Aikman wasn't all that great either. He had one great SB. The rest was all on Emmitt and the defense. He was pretty much MIA the last 2 SB's. Without help. No q.b. can win on his own. Great as Mahomes can be. Without a good line he was average to below in the SB he lost. It's a team sport...You play as a team to win. Or to lose. Dak needs to play way better!!! But so does the whole team. Minus the FG kicker

Dak got further than Romo in the playoffs. With Aikman I said the SB's not regular season. The 2nd SB against Buffalo. They ran continuously with Emmitt. Not throwing with Troy. FACT!! Again.-can't re-write Cowboy history here.....

Dak has had a good career and would say the Cowboys have generally had good QB play with him under center. However, this year Dak has just played horribly and is playing with so little confidence. We may be witnessing the unraveling of Dak and couldn't be coming at the worse possible time after his new contract. I really had hoped we didn't cave on his contract before the season, there was no reason to pay him.

With that said the problems stretch beyond Dak alone and hopefully if we can get more from the running game Dak can improve on what has been his worst year of his career.

Where should Dak get his confidence from. The run game? Our two turn style tackles? Our 1 WR who does not run good routes?

Your third sentence is ironic when your second sentence is objectively and provably wrong. Facts do matter. Both made it to the divisional round twice. Both lost twice. So no, Dak didn't go further. Aikman didn't stink it up and choke in the playoffs and SB either, even if the rest of the team caused a win. Dak objectively cost the game against the 49ers in their second playoff matchup. But hey, keep defending Choke Prescott. You have zero credibility when you can't even get your facts straight.
