Great officiating again this game. The refs might as well pull Novitski's shorts down and service him right there at mid court.

F'in pathetic.

I will admit that SA has owned dallas for a long time.

the mavericks are gonna pull it out this year.

heres to the nba championship and the superbowl belonging to dallas.
if only the stars didn't suck it up in the play offs...
I would love a triple crown for d-town

I really hope Spurs fans don't blame game 4 on the refs. There were some bad calls both ways, but I think it was the best officiated game of the series.

If anything the Spurs have gotten plenty of favorable calls so far this series. It really don't matter though because they are finished, they played their best game of the postseason and still came up short. The big 3 (ginobli, parker and duncan) won't all have a game like that again.

Spurs bounce back for game 5, then lose at dallas in game 6. But then again maybe Dallas just puts the dagger on wed.

Go Mavs!

It was somewhat even till the last call of regulation. Sorry but that was a HORRIBLE call to GIVE overtime to the Mavs. PERIOD.

there were some bad calls, but that's the way it goes.

despite the bad calls, san antonio still had a chance to win it, and duncan just missed. it's just not going SA's way right now.

it ain't over yet, but props to the mavs. they are taking it to the spurs.

i'd love to see this series end up in 7 games...there has been some crazy basketball going down! it's a shame this is the conf. semi finals.

Bad call on Bruce Bowen to put Dirk on the line. Ernie Johnson, on TNT, said Bruce was so mad that he went searching for David Stern in the sidelines and when he couldnt find him, just yelled out "This is terrible".

The Refs have been pretty terrible in the Playoffs period but unfortunately when your dealing with humans your going to have mistakes (See the Super Bowl for more examples). I would rather have seen the Refs eat the whistle and let the players play when the game is on the line and it is under 2 minutes or so.

Like Barkley said, These boys (Spurs) aren't dead yet.

Thank God we dont have to wait 5 years to see the next game  .

Yeah, but that call on Bruce was awful. But suffice it to say, Duncan had a chance to win it in regulation and the game went into overtime. So that played was BS, but it didnt keep the Spurs from being able to get other chances to seal the victory.

What's up with Ernie? He looked bloated or something. Is he sick?

He is sick, he's got cancer or something.

And as for the Bowen call, it may have been a bad call (maybe not) but Dirk would have scored anyway.

MAVS IN 5

(I predicted a Mavs sweep before the series started, look how close I was)

at least other mav fans here aren't afraid to say that was a horrible call.

come on...no basketball fan will tell you that was a good call.

but it is what it is. takes four to win, though, so it's not over yet.

Yep, bad call... there have been a lot of them. Goes back to my problem with NBA reffing as a whole. That beging said, the Spurs were called for 3 more fouls in the game and they shot the same amount of free throws. The refs haven't been the difference in this series.

That's debateable.

ANd I agree about the NBA officiating as a whole. I've watched one complete NBA game all season (game 3 of the dal/sa series). I've watched less then 2 total games combined all year. The officiating and David Stern's failure to address the officiating have killed the game for me.

It was a bad call, but SA shouldnt have let Dallas get back in after being up 5with 3 minutes left. They also had a chance to win with a 10 foot jumper, and couldnt do it.

And let's not forget, Dallas still had to win it in overtime.
