Great trade Jerry! Keep up the good job. Got rid of one player who sucked last year and the other one was decent at best. Curtis can replace Fasano without much drop in talent. The reason Fasano was even drafted was when the cowboys were going to do the two tight end system. Now we have more control of the draft and have given more playing time to Carpenter as well. Opens two spots in the roster for the draft picks. Got to love Jones. Can't satisfy everyone, because there's always those who whine about everything.

Maybe Red doesn't like Fasano at TE. Maybe they like another prospect better. That kid Cottam is 6-7, 270 lbs. 4.65 speed from Tennessee. Who does that sound like? I mean, it could be any TE, who knows?


I mean, if you turn that around and say, we know what we have in Ayodele, I think we need to draft another ILB............

The only thing I don't like about it is it feels like Jerry is trying to wheel and deal just for the hell of it, and that's scary. But the particulars of this trade don't bother me that much.

I was a lot more upset by the Fergy trade, because he was a much better player than either of these guys.
