Let me save you some time ...Dallas Looked better than the 49ers last year. But from a macro perspective, both teams look very close -- almost parallel.

What the heck?? How does going back 5 years in these 2 particular teams case prove anything? And why not go back 10 or 15 years while yur at it? Whats the point.

If anything, all you had to do was go back 1 year and say yeah... both teams basically sucked. But to go back 5 years is silly considering theres only like a handful of players still around that were even on the team 3 years ago.

Hell in this day and age even going back just 1 year doesnt necessaarily mean anything when we continually see teams go from 4-12 one year to 12-4 the next. Or 10-6 to 6-10.

Maybe you're just not paying attention to these things since it so happens that your team has been one of the few teams that hasnt gone through it.

Well, San Francisco's offense/defense ranking is 31 and 32. Dallas's is 18 and 20. That ought to count for something.

Offseason, shoot, we improved ourselves offseason, preseason, and hopefully in the regular season as rookies start to get their heads in the game.

you can look at those stats all you want but since Bill Parcells has been here the talent has been upgraded at almost every single position. This is not the same team it was in 2001 this is not the same team it was in 2002,2003 and we are even a lot different from our team in 2004. So you can go ahead and compare these records, but we have evolved over the last 4 years a lot more than the 49ers have.
