Like Cougar in Top Gun, Folk has lost the edge. He should turn in his wings....it's just over for kickers in his situation. Most NEVER get right after they get the yips. He IS just a kicker afterall. Not like we are jettisoning a franchise QB here. Get someone who can make a damn 30+ yarder and move along. Why the big deal?

Let's just say I've never seen a football curve like that with no wind. I don't even know how he did it.

Granted, I'm sure they showed only the worst ones, but there were five or six that were just crazy bad. And not just one way -- he was hooking and slicing.

No way can you give Folk another week...he couldn't make them before the game from close up....I wonder how he made the 44 yarder during the game....I thought that maybe he had a good week in practice....then, after that miss they started showing his attempts prior to the game....it was atrocious.

I have no confidence in Folk....and more importantly, FOLK has no confidence in himself.

I'd love to hear from someone who was there. They showed 3 missed kicks from warmups before the game but I'd like to know how many he kicked. If he missed 3 out 4 I'd say he'd done for now. If those were his only misses out of 15-20 warmups, then they were just fishing for a story by putting that montage together and having it ready to go. That being said, he is currently unreliable and needs to be replaced. I'd like for him to go on IR and get the chance to get it together and win his job back next year.

My other issue is that both Suisham and Rayner can handle kickoffs well. I wonder if they are also looking to only carry one kicker on gamedays done the strech?

I agree. Chances are those were the worse kicks he had during the warm up but one was way off with no pressure coming. Then to miss a chip shot as he did I think sealed his fate with us for at least this season. I hope we have not seen the last of Folk just the last of him for this year

They are just working him out. Strange thing with kickers as quick as they lose it can also get going again. I can't say the thought of suisham gives me a warm feeling inside but if he can come in and do well in the workout then the Cowboys have to take the risk

All his misses came at pretty critical times in games the Commanders could have won if he had made them.

Shuisam was very, very good most of this year. He struggled for about 2 weeks and was cut, lol.

IR Folk and let him have the off-season to heal than compete next year with Shuisam and Robokicker.
