All his misses came at pretty critical times in games the Commanders could have won if he had made them.

When you average 18 points per game ALL field goals are HUGE.

Shuisam IS 9th in the league (amongst kickers with over 10 attempts) with 86% of kicks made. He missed one chippie and one 30+ yarder but made all his 40 to 49 yard attempts. He missed his only attempt over 50 yards.

LAST year Folk was 20-22, this year Shuisam was 18--21.... that's basically right near Pro Bowl caliber.

Washington cut him because they were losing every week and needed to do something.

No offense man but you guys are averaging 29 points a game the last 3 and STILL only 18 on the year. If you cut a kicker because he wasn't booming kick-offs that's just another reason Cerrato had to go.

they drafted him to upgrade a very weak part of the special teams, and he's been exceptional

its not that he CANT kick fg's...he did it at USC...just not that accurate

Yeah, OK. Folk missed a 25 yrd FG lined up perfectly indoors. The guy is mentally shot. Those shanks in pregame warmups was a perfect indication he's lost it. The move should've been made 2 weeks ago.

The Cowboys are scheduled to work out free agent PK Shaun Suisham on Monday.
The club is looking to replace Nick Folk, and also gave Dave Rayner a call. Rookie kickoff specialist David Buehler does not appear to be an option.

Let's just say I've never seen a football curve like that with no wind. I don't even know how he did it.

Granted, I'm sure they showed only the worst ones, but there were five or six that were just crazy bad. And not just one way -- he was hooking and slicing.

I think this is what is most disturbing to fans, it was not just a doink off the upright, it was all those wild-arse kicks in the pregame they showed.

Seriously, I have never seen a kicker scatter shot kicks like that in a freaking dome, I really dont know how you could even miss that bad if you were trying on purpose. We are not just talking about just missing an upright, we are talking about dog leg hooks that went out the side of the endzone, not the back of it!!!!!
