Your running game goes from adequate to lights out if you add Cook. A Pollard-Cook one-two punch would be among the best in the league. With how the Cowboys want to play this year with the defense they've got, this could be the piece that would finally put them over the top.

A skill position lineup of Lamb, Cooks, Gallup, Pollard, Cook would potentially be close to best in the league.

Just go get him. I don't care if it makes it harder to bring back one of our guys next season. You've got to take a risk to win.
the challenge will be splitting the carries and then you have three WRs who want the ball. probably would average about 12 carries for each over the season. and essentially you are getting a RB for 20M , that is if he accepts 10M one year deal.

They expect you to run the ball, run it!

There is no way Cook is getting $10 million aav if no one would even trade a late pick for him. He could have been had for two years for less than $10 million if someone traded for his old contract.

I doubt that the Cowboys would pay him 10. I would think that their limit with him would be 6. I think that he would take too much money for Dallas, but we will have to see what his market is.

10 million per year for one year. You do good you get another 10 million per year for one year. Lather rinse repeat. You want guaranteed money over multiple years buzz off loser.

The 3 questions are always:

1. Is he available?
2. Does he make us better?
3. Is he affordable?

Unfortunately, with the Jones, there is a 4th question. Would his signing make the Jones family look smart?

Also, Stephen’s' interpretation of question 3 is "Will he sign below market level for the privilege of wearing the Star?"

Try to sign him if you believe he solidifies your rb group.. really shouldn't be a convo based off zeke. If it doesn't, work on completing deals for diggs/lamb instead.

learn something??? bahahhahahahahahahha... everytihng you say is SUBJECTIVE. I gave you statistical facts and you try to say... yea, but those yards dont matter. What about the "TOUGH," yards??? bahahahha

Alternative facts are strong with you
Have you ever tried dividing total yards by attempts?

It gives you this really interesting number called yards per attempt.

When you look at this magical little category, Dallas is listed as 21st in the league for 2022.

Over the last 3 games, they were third worst.

Not really subjective at all. Just requires some basic understanding of the subject matter which you obviously struggle with.

Lets see how fast he signs while Elliott is still on the market?

Cook is the superior player at this point, but it will be interesting to see how one’s contract demands effect the other’s.

I think Dallas would pay him 3 mil. I think another team would pay him 5 mil. His choice.

Cook is in a slow decline. He's not as used up as Zeke but right now I can't see how he is better than a Pollard-Vaughn-Jones combo. Would also rather see Davis or Dowdle get more chances.

Dallas has the cap space to get Cook but I would rather they look ahead with Lamb, Diggs, Parsons, etc. all due for contracts in the future than paying a running back that's starting to sputter.

Agree.. I want to see what the young group can do. A lot of fresh legs here that can be productive. But fans love an overpaid "nearly" washed up veteran! Some can't get enough.

or jets, as there is a rumor that Jets may trade for Mike Evans as tampa is going into a rebuild mode.

That rumor is not coming anywhere from around here in Tampa. In fact the GM was on sports talk radio just last week saying that with the WR trio they have they believe Mayfield has a chance to impress and, given the status of the NFC South, surprise people.

I don't believe Mayfield can do it, but the team (GM and head coach on down) seem to honestly be thinking that way. Not to mention Evans is so beloved here, I honestly don't think they want the bad PR hit from the move this offseason. As, always, I could be wrong, but there are zero indications from the Bucs that a trade is on their radar. In fact I think they would go after Cook before trading Evans (though their cap would not allow it) since they truly believe they can compete in a weak FC South.

Yes per the infamous Mickey speak, "If he is so good why is he available".
