lol .. .you're right - this does sound crazy .. Hichens doesnt make big plays ... at least you could say with Jaylon that he has the physical power to jar fumlbes from ball carriers and is more of a blitzer than Hitchens
Hitchens does have a nose for action, but many of his tackles are on his side of the ball vs at the line or in the backfield for losses.
Hitchen was serviceable at best -he's tough and durable, he does not create turnovers , he does not create game changing plays
and just his KC partner , they are liabilities vs pass.
comparing him to LVE is even more insane- neither Hitch nor Wilson dont have nowhere near his athleticism, instincts, knack vs pass, and ability to create turnovers.
just wondering if missed tackles are counted from when contact was made, because it seems Smith is out of position a lot to not even get a hand on the ball carrierLVE has 12 missed tackles in 9 games, Smith now has 10+ missed tackles as well.
What big plays have they made? At this point, I'll just take a consistently good linebacker rather than flashy linebackers that now get burned.

yup, it's up to coaches to correct (fundamentals) or remove the problem (bench the player) and neither is happeningI don't know, but I know going into the Chicago game LVE, Smith, and Lee had a combined 32 missed tackles. And honestly, I would not be surprised if that is now close to 40 after the Bears game.
Having said that, for them ALL to be this poor with tackling, it has to fall on Marinelli.
i'm including their last two years combined,... not just one down year,
