Jesus Christ himself couldn’t have won w/ those Detroit teams.Yeah, the Lions won tons of games because of Matthew Stafford.

If Stafford would throw 41 TDs for the Cowboys and get sent packing in the Wild Card ya'll would brag sooooo much about those stats and try and tell anyone that would listen what a top QB he is.
But, because he doesn't have a star on his helmet he's not that great, just a guy carried by a good team.
Ya'll are hilarious lol
To be fair the Lions won a lot more games with Stafford than they would've without him.
Stafford didn't all of a sudden become a Super Bowl winning caliber QB last year. He was the #1 pick for a reason. He always had the skills. He elevated the Rams just as much as the Rams elevated him.
I know it's easy to discount him because of his lack of success with the Lions, but he lead his team to a Super Bowl victory literally the first time he ever had a Super Bowl caliber roster around him. There's a lot of QBs that waste Super Bowl caliber rosters every year.
Do you believe Stafford is better than Dak?
This is why me and others have a hard time taking some of ya'll seriously. Nobody would think that outside of this little corner of the internet. This is the only place you can say things like that and not get laughed out of the conversation.I think they are about the same in terms of talent. Stafford has been in the league 14 years he has a lot more experience than Dak.
Would the hover around .400 without Carr though? The only hugely glaring one for me is Derek Carr. What games is he winning? They hover around .500 or worse every single year
Carr got his team in the playoffs despite his top WR going to jail, chaos at the HC position, and incompetence at the ownership and GM levels.
That's a lot to fight through. But he did it. That's impressive.

There's too much thinking with the heart instead of the brain around here when it comes to the Cowboys.
I've seen enough of your posts to know that you allow your biases to take over logic more times than not.
You really believe that the #1 overall pick/Super Bowl champion has about the same amount of talent as the 4th round dual-threat QB (that would have never been drafted if not for his legs) has the same amount of talent?
There is no way you'd ever say this if Stafford was a Cowboy and Dak was an Eagle.
the ravens definitely win games because of Lamar
I believe we have had a few Super Bowl caliber rosters since 1996.There are several QBs who also are wasted on non-Super Bowl-caliber rosters every year. I believe that we've had two, and yes, that includes Prescott. Not saying he was last year because I believe he contributed to our demise with declining play after his injury during the middle of the season, but he has performed at a level good enough to get to/win a Super Bowl with the right team around him. Might have done it in 2016 if the defense could have stopped Rodgers.
As you point out, it took a Super Bowl-caliber roster for Stafford to get one, so why do our fans expect our quarterbacks to be able to do more with less?
I've read enough of your posts to know that if Stafford was a Cowboy and Dak was an Eagle you'd never say they have about the same amount of talent. You don't know jack about me, I really do not care if you take me seriously or not. Draft pick has nothing to do with it. Brady was a fricken 6th round pick you think he is avg> You think anyone gives damn where he got picked? You are joke. I have a watched many 1st rd pick QB crash and burn in the NFL. Where you get picked means nothing, how you play means a lot.
Would the hover around .400 without Carr though?

You know it and I know it.
I said earlier that Carr should have been in that group with Dak.Actually isn't around .400 Carr's career win percentage?
I would tend to give...fans...the benefit of doubt. I'm not sure it's good for a fan to run around saying how much better other players are over their own. This is why me and others have a hard time taking some of ya'll seriously. Pulling for them and being unrealistic about their abilities is different. If Stafford where a Cowboys I would pull for him just as I do Dak. Would not change my views elite. I think Dallas can win with Dak and I think he is a fine QB but would not put him in the elite category. Elites once again is about producing at a very high level of play year in and year out. I think the league has a lot of good QB but very few who are actually elite

I pull for Dak because he's a Cowboy, but I don't pretend he is better than he is because he's a Cowboy.
Who said anything about "Elite"? Dan didn't in his tweets and I didn't either.
I said many times that there are only 3 elite QBs in the NFL right now. Brady, Rodgers, and Mahomes.
