We need young, innovative types.

These old, washed up, recycled, formerly fired HC have been left behind and surpassed.

We need a young coordinator or college HC to come in with new ideas and modern playbooks.

Dan Quinn is a fine coordinator, but he’s not a HC. If another team wants to take that chance then let them.
HOLY CRAP!!! We agree on something? The end is near!! Lol

And even as a DC I'm not liking his philosophy against running teams. We're about speed and rushing the passer. Which is why he likes undersized LBers. Smart OC's know they have to get rid of the ball against us. Kyle and Purdy did just that. We match up very well against passing team who like to take 5 step drops. You can't do that against us and the smart ones know this. But like players who can be arrogant, coaches can be too. Take Vic Fangio and his blueprint to stop our offense. Fake blitz drop back in zone. Dak has trouble with that. But for some reason other DC's will blitz him, being arrogant thinking their blitzing scheme will be more effective than others. Dak is one of the best, if not THE best QB at beating the blitz. I think arrogance is the only reason why we don't see every team playing zone against us. Romo was the exact opposite. He would destroy a zone scheme but couldn't figure out where the blitz was coming from.

Anyways. Stock up on food and other resources. The end is near! ;)

We can only hope. I am tired of these Old dated coaches stuck in the past. I hope we don't hire Dan Quinn. He failed as the Falcons coach. He is a decent defensive coordinator but idk about head coach. I mean look at how he makes adjustments on defense. And going on year 2 where we can't stop the run vs a playoff level team. I rather go the college route.

We had a young, innovative OC last year...and promptly ran him out of town.

This entire team is built around the limitations of the QB. Every single deck chair on the Titanic can be rearranged, but the result will be the same as long as the focus is on propping-up one guy.

NO for Quinn, we've had a enough of old/reused coaches...bring in the next great innovator for coach....who that is...I dont know..like some one else said in this post, Lincoln Riley and Trey Lance....what a combo....

Blasphemy!
Quinn has been hyping himself for quit a bit.
He has his minions clamoring for a HC job but his defense Sunday was putrid, awful and train-wreck-like.
Don't reward him for 42 points scored against us (it could easily have been 52 points.

The shine is coming off the Quinn toy. Both losses the defense looked out of sync, confused, and unprepared.

He shouldn’t be the current DC. No way he’ll ever be a head coach, again, of an NFL team.

Great combo…if the Cowboys are playing Northern Iowa. Lance is a CFL quarterback, and will be middle of the pack in that league. Riley cannot recruit players to the Cowboys like he does at USC. And he’s too smart to ever go after an NFL head coaching job.

Quinn isn’t the answer, and as other’s have stated, we have no hope of acquiring a young, innovative mind at HC. The Jerry Jones of 1989 (when he hired a young, innovative coach) isn’t the same man as he is today.
