The Commanders got rid of one Dan just to hire another Dan that ain’t gonna help them win anything.
Damn "Those Dan's"
Damn "Those Dan's"
Sincere question, would you see any promise in a post Jerry Jones ownership of the cowboys?Maybe he sees promise in the new, post-Snyder ownership?
Id like to agree but we beat the rams when they were bad,we all know we should have lost that game against the lions but I'll give them credit against Miami..Not true. The defense played well against the Rams, Lions, and Dolphins
This team never hires up-and-comers except for Kellen Moore.Do we really want retreads with experience or up and comers with new innovative but unproven ideas?
Actually, they are the only team I hate. The hate started in 1974. I have never hated the Eagles or Giants, or even the old NFC East Cardinals. But I have hated the RedFootballCommandersSkins for 50 years.Commander fan huh.
Pretty sure there's a sizeable part of the fan base that wanted both gone. Hell, I'd go one further and even include MM in there.
You do know Micah just can't go play for whomever he wants, right? He is under contract and can be tagged 2 times I believe. If Dallas wants to keep him, he is here 4 more years.Micah too...remember he said he might leave with Q.
B'bye...
Teams will typically allow a promoted former coordinator take who he wants to take from his staff. The new Coordinator is going to want to hire his own guys anyway - guys he already has relationships with.He can only take a defensive coordinator with him. Everyone else is under contract.
Kind of like Brock Purdy…Quinn was going to say yes to any team that give him the job. Washington had no other options so Quinn pretty much became the Mr. Irrelevant of this coaching cycle
LOL. Cowboys and having a plan. You are a funny guy.Teams will typically allow a promoted former coordinator take who he wants to take from his staff. The new Coordinator is going to want to hire his own guys anyway - guys he already has relationships with.
Normally, a team isn’t going to block assistants moving to a new team if their coordinator gets a HC gig, unless they intend to promote internally. Allowing Whitt and Harris to leave is an indication the Cowboys and McCarthy already have a plan in place to replace Quinn, and they expected him to leave and take some assistant coaches with him.
That isn’t a serious question. It is a fantasy.Sincere question, would you see any promise in a post Jerry Jones ownership of the cowboys?
Dittosniffle
Seriously though, as bad as it ended, the guy made our defense relevant again so I can't rag on that and am grateful for that reason. Just needed something extra that he couldn't quite muster in his time here.
Hoping Harris and Whitt do. Then and only then will they have to look outside the building. Which can be bad or good. Depending on the route they take. Me personally. I am looking at someone to bring in as asst HC. So he can take over next season. Or mid season. No one is signing a long term deal without that guarantee because Jerry has backed us into a corner by not extending MM but by also confirming him. Will any of the defensive assistants follow him to Washington?
Will be more podcasts coming…..Micah probably crying in a corner right now.
PLEASE, bring a DC in that holds these brats responsible
I never play the lotto, so I can't win. I can still dream about winning a couple billion of dollars, just like dreaming about a new ownership of the CowboysThat isn’t a serious question. It is a fantasy.
It would be malpractice not to have a plan. The NFL community talked all of the 2023 season about the inevitability of Dan Quinn becoming a Head Coach in 2024.LOL. Cowboys and having a plan. You are a funny guy.
