because i don't see it happening , again DJ would not, so its moot.... i know how these type of veterans think he's going to be looking to either sit and wait until the offseason or go to A CONTENDER

it's easy to get into these guys heads.DJ wouldn't come here IMHO.
Jones stock is at an all time low right now. If he had an opportunity to play with a better situation than in NY he would be crazy not to take it. He is likely to get a backup deal somewhere at this point regardless, but if he can get a couple game with positive tape he could build is value back up right before free agency.

Daniel Jones actually asked for his release and him and the Giants came to a mutual decision. So it wasn't like Jones still wanted to be a Giant and they released him anyway. Although I do believe the Giants would have drafted a QB next year either way.

As bad as Jon Mara is as bad as Brian Daboll is and Joe Schoen - They have the balls to realize it was a mistake to keep him and they cut him.

Jerry is too stupid and had a chance to do the same instead he gave his turd 60 million bucks a year.

The Giants moved on

Giants will beat us soundly on Thanksgiving day - with a New Jersey high school quarterback.

Is Dallas really a better situation than what the Giants are right now? Cowboys current roster isn't that much more talented than the Giants currently is. Jones would have to sign because of no other team in a better place than what the Cowboys are right now, would be making him any offers.

Yes it was a big time mistake Prescott's not a mistake the front office stopped building around his quarterback is a mistake these two are not even in the same zip code as far as talent if you think so you're a bigger hater than I even see you as it's dumb to cut a player who just last year was second MVP voting you could allow his contract to run out sure but once you signed lamb Prescott had to follow and now Parsons will follow and they will try the next two years to get it back on track or we'll be back in this spot like this year and then we can rebuild..

you mean cut a quarterback that's far far below the one we have you mean a quarterback that's already 2 years into a contract and has done nothing with the giants he had saquon Barkley couldn't do anything they cut saquon they made a mistake so yeah they're cutting him Prescott's not even three months into his new deal you'll see the correlation here first of all who cares it's Daniel Jones who never should have been signed to a contract. Not one that big so somehow Jerry should cut Prescott because they cut Daniel Jones makes no sense none of y'all make any sense what do you mean Jerry would never know because Jerry would have never signed Daniel Jones to a $42 million contract because Daniel Jones and everybody's eyes is a tier 3 quarterback not top of Tier 2 or bottom of tier one like Prescott literally should've never been given a starters contract...

So you're right Jerry would never and let me finish the sentence sign Daniel Jones to a $42 million contract they are in no way in the same league as Prescott who just last year was second team all pro second MVP voting he said years that absolutely blow away anything Daniel Jones could do...
Why does the richest player in NFL history... need everything perfect built around him ? Why can't he win a game himself like Peyton used to do ? You probably would take Dak over Peyton though... for some reason you are insanely blinded by Dak and his ability and its weird. If Dak wanted everything high end around him he would have taken 45-50 a year since its his second big contract. He chose instead, to be the highest player of all time. Actions have consequences... but you keep worshiping and making excuses for Dak. The majority of us will hope for a rebuild eventually.

Yeah it is. Honestly I can't think of a single position group on offense where I would take the Giants players over the Cowboys. On the defensive side of the ball its a little bit different situation, but offensively the Giants might be the worst team in football.

I agree.......my guess is the Raiders or Jets are all over him. He may already have a team interested.......might explain why he asked for the release

A team with the stones to cut bait after a mistake. Must be nice.
In Dallas’ defense Daniel Jones has never remotely looked like the guy. They gave him that $40 million contract after a season where he only threw 15 TD passes in 16 games. That signing never made sense. He has thrown 48 TD passes in his last 57 games where Dak has thrown 47 TD passes in his last 25 games to put Danny 10 Pennies production in perspective.

Wow!! Didn't see that coming!! Poor kid. First he's benched for Tommy Cutlets, then he's released....and right before the holidays!! Has Mara no heart??
Actually this does show heart. He was the 3rd string and I thought I heard he had a role with the practice squad guys in prepping the first team. This was mercy. Something that should happen with Mike M.

If take their WR corps over ours... sad because they don't have much other than nabers but robinson and slayton would be the #2 on our team
