please stop posting silly things.
jahad thomas is 5'10" and 175 or so. That makes him skinny... not a midget where 5'10" is actually average height.
he can actually return kicks and play special teams then operate as your nickel back which gives him an outside shot to make the roster.

dunbar would be here if he could stay healthy at all. his size was never an issue for dallas.

darius jackson has legit NFL size but no skill in any special teams area.
he isn't gonna break into the lineup here as an every down back and thus has no place on the roster.

cole, switzer and dunbar all weigh more than thomas.
and they are all faster than thomas.

may be dunbar's size was working against him for being a RB???

I have not seen any medical reports, but if the Brownies don't want him, he may indeed have osteochondritis dissecans; would have a difficult future with that even if he did have microfracture surgery.

i googled all over and could not find any specifics on his injury.
even went on browns message board.
nothing.

We'll see how many (if any) put in a claim for him this time around. I believe he reverts back to Cleveland's IR if he's not claimed.

If they don't choose to reach an injury settlement. It'll probably depend on how bad the injury is. If he's torn a ligament, I doubt anyone will want him until he's healthy and can be cleared by medical.

what changed is we cut him when we were at 53 men squad, not the current 90.
he may be a big improvement from the midget RB rookie who runs a 4.67 as the '4th' RB.

if he needs microfracture, pass.
if he needs ACL, why not.
easy way to stash.
he could be ready in 6-7 months.
he could be 1 of 2 RBs under contract in 2018.

@bkight13 - what happens if he is on PUP/IR all season.
does he get a year of service time?
He would accrue a season If on the IR/PUP

No way you sign him if he can't pass a physical..... too many fish

If healthy he is worth a second look

I think most teams would be scared off but if it's minor the Cowboys have a unique situation where they already know him.
