This was the strangest pick of the draft for me. I don't see how he beats out McFadden. Why double up on RB? Seems like this player is more of just an athlete than a polished RB.

Yea, this guy has no future in the NFL. I mean, he looks like if you give him a wide gaping whole and a straight line he might just go house, because no one's catching him. Too bad the NFL doesn't work that way. This guy has no future in the NFL.

I wouldnt go so far but he has no RB instincts since he has been playing RB just 1 year.He is a good ST player so he has a chance to learn the nuances of the position if he makes the team,

I don't see DMAC or Morris gone since they are on short-term contracts. It doesn't make sense to cut them unless they are truly are beat out.

I see him as a special teams player and maybe a replacement for the future if he happens to have the talent.

There appears to be concerted effort to build a balance of veterans and drafted for the future types on this team.

Yeah, count me among the few that thing this guy will have to be an animal on special teams to not end up on the practice squad. I don't think he puts any of the vets in danger.

I cant see any use for Dunbar at this point. The first thing Gary Brown mentioned was Zeke's abilities to run routes and catch balls. That spells the end of Dunbar, I imagine this organization hangs onto him throughout his rehab and pup time.

Right now the backs feel like this to me Zeke, Morris, McFadden, Smith, Jackson. We have no Fullback at the moment. We are either not playing with one this year which doesn't feel like something Garrett-Linehan would do or Rod Smith is going to morph into some sort of pseudo Fullback role.

Everyone keeps saying McFadden will be cut but I don't know that I believe that right now. I think he is liked here and considering the hoops we have had to jump through in garretts time as HC at the position I think it will be hard to cut him, scheme fit or not.

Unless Jackson is amazing at camp I imagine he is a practice squad guy. I also see them keeping four backs because smith plays special teams. The only thing that keeps me from thinking they do not is there doesn't seem to be anyway to get 4 backs dressed on gameday. We are really heavy at LB, DL.

It will be odd I guess if McFadden is on the roster but inactive. Kind of weird to see leary and McFadden inactive standing next to each other every week.

Jackson is going to have to show that he's more than the winner at the underwear Olympics. His production in college didn't match his physical gifts.

Elliott, Morris, Jackson.

My preferred RB depth chart week 1. Bye bye McFadden and Dunbar.

I'm not sold on Morris and have no idea what to expect from Jackson on the pro level.

Ive always been a Dunbar fan but it doesn't look good for him, especially coming off a serious knee injury. With the addition of EE, an all-purpose RB, and the fact that DMC could be an above average 3rd down RB if needed, Dunbar's value to the offense has been diminished.

I think they PUP Dunbar early on carrying 4 RBs. But at some point he'll need to come off the PUP and the team will have to make a decision on who to keep at RB.

The Jackson kid is Practice Squad at best. He's not beating out DMC and probably not Morris either. Both guys are signed for peanuts so $ won't be a factor.

Easily their most intriguing pick. I think there is no room for DMAC
I agree on him being their most intriguing pick. But strongly disagree with DMAC not having room on this roster because of him. Dunbar is trying to come back from an injury and if he does not make it, he will be the odd man out not DMAC. Jackson played 4 years of special teams in college so their should be room for him on this team regardless of any rb subtraction.

I think people for get that McFadden is on his last year of his contract and Morris is only signed for 2 years. People cry because we don't look long term, my thinking is they are looking long term. This guy could spend next year hidden on the practice squad and replace Mc Fadden in 2017. That's if McFadden is still on the 2016 opening day roster where he guaranteed 3 million.
