Completely disagree. Darnold is far more talented. Dak has much more experience and risk averse.

Yes Darnold does have some "moments" & I certainly can't say for sure if he'll ever have championship mental side and poise. But if he does, he'll be dangerous.

Well, more than that, they set up the O where Darnold had to play hero ball to win. There's only 1 or 2 Qbs in the entire NFL who could win w/ that type of set up.

Well, Sam Darnold led the Seattle Seahawks to their franchise 5th NFC Conference finals. Will be his first, which makes him a better QB than Dak Prescott.

Sure, all the stats will be thrown out saying Prescott is but stats are for players contracts.
Fans --which Dallas fans are starving for-- ONLY care about ONE thing....WINS.

Then Dallas fans will say Prescott has more wins that Darnold then I say, the ONLY stats fellow starving Cowboys
care about is (FIRST) getting to a NFC Conference finals, which Prescott, nor Romo, has ever accomplished.

Then Dallas fans could/might say, Seattle has a better team around Darnold.
Then again, I say it is about WINS and if the Seahawks have a better team, which now Demarcus Lawrence plays
for and a ProBowler, then that blame directly on the grocery shopper. He buys the groceries and hired the coaches.

Like Demarcus Ware, Mr. Lawrence and future ( or current) Dallas players must get out of Dallas if they want to even play in a NFC Conference game because Jerry's Pride will never allow this franchise to see another conference finals.
It is a business first and the players knows

So I hope Mr. Lawrence gets a chance to play in a Supwerbowl, maybe win it and down the line, sign his one day contract as a Dallas Cowboy as Mr. Ware did.

Just about every quarterback in the NFL is better than "Jelly Leg" Prescott.
Every time he gets nervous his legs turn to jelly and his noodle arm shows up.

No the Jets are simply a horrible organization who has failed to develop players for years. Its funny how certain teams have lived in QB hell for years and years while others seem to figure it out (at least to a league average level) year after year.

Just depends on how you want to define talent I guess. If we are just going off of measurables and traditional arm talent then yeah I would agree with you all the way....its the reason one was a 1st round pick and the other dropped to the 4th. Personally I would put something like being risk adverse but still being able to put up 4500+ yards as talent though.

and has the physical abilities to make all the throws. guys who can make those special throws just have a huge advantage. Staffords throw to Adams on the sideline late in that game was INSANE. Caleb's throw was INSANE. Darnold can sling it too.

Daniel Jones is suddenly a good QB.

There are almost no QBs who could operate any type of O. QBs need an O designed to their specific skillset. Look at poor Purdy struggling in SF. Kyle Shanny is a terrible OC who runs this stupid downfield passing attack that gets the QB killed from having to sit in the pocket way too long. And the stats show it. They flashed across the screen during the SF game: Purdy has the longest time holding the ball in the NFL at 4.4 seconds. What's that mean? It's the Shanny long developing routes type O. It gets your QB killed. Almost ended Warner's career, and ended the career of a bright young talent in Marc Bulger.

Why do they keep doing it? Because of the numbers. It allows you to put up 500 yd passing games against the crapp D's, but then you get squushed vs the good D's. Which is just what happened to both Stroud and Purdy. Where's the quick hitters and hot routes?

I put it more as a person with little talent who has learned to do something. Like a non musical person learning to play piano. They can practice it and memorize the movements but they can never truly "play" the instrument.
