If bland started all year he'd have just under 10 ints or in that area. That's great by any measure. Plus he covers extremely well. Sticky.
You simply cannot assume that twice the games equals twice the interceptions. He may never get another for the rest of his career, for all we know. Turnovers are dependant on opportunities.

Very difficult to project numbers like this. Sometimes picks in bunches disappear like farts in the wind.

In respect to Diggs, he can be susceptible to double moves as he frequently is looking to make the big play, but in retrospect, the big play is what made him last year. I would look for TB12 & Evans to have a go at him on at least one stop and go on Monday.

In general, I believe our comments have been a little too critical of late. The Cowboys did manage to win 12 games this year with 2 of the loses coming in overtime. Not bad for a supposed underachieving dumpster fire.
and as solid as that is , 24 wins in 2 years, it isn't the ultimate goal. Its a failure. Unless the goalposts have been moved back, isnt getting to the SB still the standard?

We’re a beat up team and there’s a big bull’s-eye on the corner opposite Trevon Diggs. I’m sure Tom Brady is licking his chops. I still can’t get over the big smile on Howell’s face after his first NFL pass went for a TD yesterday.

are we, the team. satisfied with 24 wins in 2 years? Is that the issue? Excuse me guys and gals, its been 27 freaking years. Can we just admit we keep falling short of the prize every dang year? Its the same thing every year. Tell me why next week will be better. I am tired of seeing the same result at the end of the year.

It was embarrassing! The Cowboys confidence can’t be any lower than it is right now. Jerry looked and sounded like he had just been hit by a truck yesterday during his post game presser. He knows his team is dead in the water.

I agree. Jerry was unhappy and depressed. WHERE is the leadership? We laid down.

Sam Howell was put on the map by your Dallas Cowboys. Never took an NFL snap in a real game. The entire staff needs FIRED. Sans AL HARRIS. I think he's decent.

We either put pressure on brady or we lose. Quinn slowed the line down to help against the run. He needs to let them off the chain this week or we go home..

How do we go from being a sack machine in October to nothing..

Brady hates middle pressure. We MUST do that. Teams adjusted and we never did. Thats how that happened. DQ was figured out.

This trade Diggs talk is silly. They can't find CB2 and the answer is to trade away CB1? I admit Diggs has not looked good for a few games, but neither has the rest of the defense.

The Cowboys defense has fallen badly since they lost Anthony Brown and Jourdan Lewis. It forced them to play CBs who are just not ready to start. Teams are finding the open many too easily. Diggs has been part of that at times, but the fact is, Good QBs are going to kill this team with short passes and crossing routes because the Cowboys CBs are too soft.

In style yes. Agree. Diggs is more of a riverboat gambler db. He will play cat and mouse. That's a dangerous style. Bland is the same all the time, a sticky cover db. Reminds me of Walls but of course he's not close to that yet. I love blands tenacity and belief that every ball should be contested. He was a real find.
Not quite.
