I'll throw out a practice squad possibility-Louis Trinca-Pasat. Seems like a good fit for this defense.

There does seem to be some level of 'we couldn't possibly take our current guys off the field' thinking. But then you see how Ryan Russell looked yesterday and you get your answer too.

I thought Russell looked physically good and flashed a few times but like most late round rookies is not ready for prime time.

Haha after one bad performance? It's no wonder people label the Cowboys fan base the most fickle in sports. We're missing our top three defensive linemen right now and McClain and yet judging by some of these comments you'd think everyone was healthy.

Exactly, Brandon "this little piggy stayed home" Weeden is a bad joke....oh well....sad.

Saw a couple Rams preseason games that guy made plays was just on a team too deep for his position

If they cut Coleman for saying what many were thinking then Garrett may have another Owens like divide in the locker room. Not good.

Or it was never fixed in the first place....I have a sneaky suspicion that this won't ever be fixed as long as the current players like Witten or Doug Free aren't held accountable for their inexcusable ghaffs

Red Bryant, **** somebody. And a workhorse in the backfield like Camille, and Matt cassell. People forget he had a couple really good seasons with New England and mc, and I think the line and some of thuuporting cast here can really help him. Then romac and Harry and Gregory come back and out line is Gregory, Lawrence, Crawford and hardy, with lee hitchens and romac, and a slew of good corners......we may pull this out.

And replace nick Hayden with anyone, ANYONE. He produces nothing

It sounds like a combination of things. If the incident Zordon posted is true that is enough to drop him by itself. Remember that Coleman was the guy who was practice squad last year and was dogging it in practice, was called out by Greg Hardy and then mouthed off to Hardy about his legal issues. Not exactly MIT material.

Also I think this forum gave Coleman more credit than he was due anyway. He had very good flashes in the preseason but most were against second and third team players. He wasn't facing any of those this Sunday.

He flashed in the preseason but also made mistakes especially in run defense.

I reviewed all of his plays in the Falcons game and he really didn't have any big fails but also didn't have many wins.

His 1st step looked great but he can't seem to do much after his 1st step.

I don't normally focus to much on arm length, but that appears to be a problem for him. I noticed it without knowing his actual arm length. I just looked it up and he indeed does have very short arms (31.75).

Did someone really say there was discontent in the locker room and is any of it corraborated?

I haven't seen or heard anything about that, and it seems espn would have it. Front and center if that was true (or a Mild rumor)

Physically? Maybe. But he was so mentally unaware of what he needed to do, it's clear to me exactly why they've been so reluctant to play him.
