Why the RB? This is similar to the 2008 draft when they got Felix Jones in the 1st and took Tashard Choice later when they already had Marion Barber.

A RB or two is probably gonna get traded for conditional 2017 picks during training camp.

We can keep 4. Just cut the FB. Elliott is an excellent blocker, he can do that role if we bring another RB in the game.

Gathers us a physical beast. I watch a lot of college basketball (I'm from Kentucky so it's a requirement) and he's just an athletic freak at his size. Will it translate? Who knows, but I guess the front office thought it was worth a final 6th round pick to find out.

Yeah, I agree! He probably won't pan out, but I like the risk. At the very least, you can keep him on your PS for a couple seasons
