I bet they have plans to try Gathers out as a RT.

I doubt it, I think someone earlier said he was 6'8 which would indicate that he can likely add enough weight to effectively play OT w/o losing athletic ability, but when I looked him up, he's an even 6'6 which *would* still be good height for an OT, but nothing special. Very good for a TE though. Not saying he will turn into him, but he's similar to Gronk physically.

We've had some total suck drafts that looked like they would suck. Understand its a low bar, but I think this draft might give us some real playmakers. If we can get out of the gate pretty quickly and say start the season at 3-1, we might be in decent shape when the DLine reinforcements arrive in week 5.
