Draft Day ***Day THREE draft thread***

Why not do both 5s this year and even throw in the 7th. Oh well

Why in the world would anyone be worried about next years 5th round pick right now? They are in line for 4 comp picks next year and they simply went and got a guy they likely had a very high grade on. This is the type of move that makes a great draft if your scouts are correct. Absolutely nothing at all to rue over this move.

Offensive lineman are the most underrated key parts on offenses. If this pick can turn out to be a great center for seasons to come for the Cowboys then whatever we traded to the Eagles will be more than worth it.

I would've been fine taking Biadasz (among others) at 123, so I'm plenty good with this.
"Almost" everyone had him their top 100 and many in their top 75...or even as high as 52.
He fits a need for depth and maybe possible starter at some point...all at pick 146

Its worth a 5th round pick on the CHANCE to find a starting player at this point in the draft.

Biadasz offer that shot at least.

People act like 5th rounders are gold. The odds of finding a player in this round that makes even one pro bowl are probably around 1-2%.

I didn't think the former Baylor HC gave two hoots about defense at Baylor and now he is all defense minded.

What’s wrong with the trade?

We’re getting max comp picks next season. We can afford to move one for the future starting center

Just think we gave up too much at the time. I love the pick though. Give me a day and I will be good with the trade.
As I don't like giving up draft picks, especially to a rival.

2 5ths, though 1 next year, for a 5th (technically a 4th, but really a 5th if counting comp picks). Can't count on getting that 5th round comp pick next year. This was my initial thought, but as I said, give it time. I had Biadasz in my mocks in the 3rd round.
