Remember we drafted Joe Jackson and Jelks last year. We also have Armstrong so DE depth isn't a huge concern, but there's a logjam at the end of that rotation.

Yeah, I forgot about Jelks until you mentioned it. I think the Cowboys are assuming Aldon Smith and Gregory will be back. Any pick at DE would have to be better right now than those three to get drafted in my opinion.

Yeah...no matter what we do now, DE is a problem. We'd only add guys to the back end.

I think this is our Achille's Heel this year. RE will kill us. Hopefully, Smith and Gregory will be reinstated or we are in trouble.

Games don’t start tomorrow. If they don’t add anyone in the draft and Gregory or Smith aren’t the answer, they will make a move at some point. Griffin is out there and there will be other vets available later, either by trade or being released. See last year for reference.

Not happy with the trade but I think we did it because we will have comp picks next year in the 5th round and maybe jumped the fins to get him. They have multiple picks and are building a while offense through the draft. They scored a qb and are grabbing big o-line quality. We have been letting the draft come to us so I don’t think we jumped because of boredom. We have reason.

Yeah we flip 5ths this year and give up a 5th next year...to me that is really hard to complain about.

I want D too, but there's a real chance some of these WRs could make our team--which is the bottom line.
So wouldn't rule them out.
Some DE and S's still out there though.

NYG going heavy on the OL. Any Garrett influence there? Could be good, could be bad for us. Giants QB Daniel Jones is a very accurate passer. Hate to see him get time in the pocket. I thought he was pretty dangerous when he got out of the pocket, though. Fumbled a lot but he has some jets. Looks like Garrett (or the GM) wants Jones as a prototypical pocket passer. NYG might be going run first with Barkley now.

NYG defense is still trash.

I think we do it every year don't we? I know we traded one for Xavier Woods. We swapped picks with the Raiders. I thought this is what we do. Its actually smart when you think about it if it you get comp picks.

13.5 sacks in 2019, double digits in 2018 as well, this is against NCAA competition.
