Bill Elliott is one of my all time favorite drivers. I can't wait to see if his boy can drive.

So far, so good. He wins in everything he's been in. Even beat David Ragan in a race last year and Hendrick Motorsports has already signed him.

It's just a matter of being old enough. I think he's 15 or 16.

yeah i understand that, but still didn't expect southern drivers to become a minority this quickly. we need more good ole boys to balance out all these monotonic sounding robots in nascar these days.

There was some concern regarding cross talk with crew, spotters and other drivers. Not sure that was the defining reason but there was some discussion regarding that.

No, we have Dish. Bugger. Probably a good thing. I don't need to know every detail about the man. He's got some crazy fans, but if he were to ever propose (which would have to involve me meeting the man) I wouldn't say no.
