Wreckage draws the curious

The back of a former Tom Thumb grocery store became one of the most traveled destinations in Irving this weekend.
Just across the fence is a view of what used to be the Cowboys practice facility. Fans, shutterbugs and the simply curious began arriving Saturday night. The heavy traffic continued today, people armed with everything from high-end Nikons to the most basic cell-phone cameras to record images of the wreckage. People climbed on top of dumpsters and up stairs to get better photo angles.
"I was reading about it in the paper today and just wanted to see it," Carrollton's Rick Wood, a Cowboy fan since the franchise's inception in 1960 who brought his two school-age sons with him. "I think we're very fortunate that people weren't more seriously injured, or worse."
