And so the fluff commences…
The Chiefs benched Sky Moore and then he made the huge play in the AFC championship game.Dudes a complete waste of a pick. The team had a huge need at WR cause they thought he'd come thru. Boy were they wrong.
Actually, he needs to suit up for a game first.Baby steps. His initial goal should be to catch a pass.
Dalton Schultz was drafted in the 4th round. By the time he bloomed 4 years later, he's already hitting free agency. How did that help the Cowboys? Another team is going to reap the benefits of us developing Schultz. I see Tolbert going down the same road if he develops and shines late for 1 year. The problem is the Cowboys using costly draft picks for players who clearly need years of time to develop. Cowboys are developing those types only to see them flourish elsewhere for another team.Jalen Has much he can do. Its way premature to call him a bust. Lets see what he does year 2. Then 3. U just never know. Sometimes the light comes on when we least expect it. Look at Dalton Schultz. I think it was year 3 or 4 with him. Then he went nuts. NOBODY expected it. We need patience with him.
Come on he had 2 catches for 12 yards.Forget the 3 year doctrine. Year One B's!
He did make the Pro Bowl, although that vote was counted before a few mistakes.
Some of you guys...
I'm glad you're not my boss. Insanely harsh when put up to the rest of the competition.
I don't even think most of you look at the rest of the competition in detail.
Yeah, considering how the WRs not named CeeDee Lamb contributed you'd think the coach would be out. Part of his job was getting Tolbert ready to play.As an aside, I hate our WR Coach and I'm amazed he avoided the flush of the offensive staff.
Yeah but…And so the fluff commences…
I listened to his interview, and parts of it tell me he's not hungry enough. Maybe he got humbled by the vets after coming in too strong. Who knows? I would just like to see him take the next step. I hope he puts in the work to get there.
Maybe with another offseason he can finally learn the plays.
Jimmy Smith broke his leg as a rookie in the Blue vs. White scrimmage.Yeah but…
In 1992, the Cowboys drafted a WR in round two with high hopes. He got hurt his rookie year, then was somewhat disappointingly slow to develop. He never caught a pass for us and was cut after two seasons.
That guy‘s name was Jimmy Smith. He got picked up by the expansion Jacksonville Jaguars and went on to catch 862 passes for 12,287 yards and 67 TDs. He was a two time All Pro and made the pro bowl 5 straight seasons.
In other words, don’t give up on a guy too early.
Very true Bob.Yeah but…
