Teams like to wait until after week 1 so they don't have to guarantee salaries for vets. Most teams, including us, are right up against the cap at this time of year.

Great signing......you called for it when he was cut.......but he didn't have a salary once he was waived......DAL could have set the base at the minimum and used game day bonuses to make up the difference.......waiting until after a loss is better than not signing him at all but we aren't that tight on the cap to stop us from improving

I remember. Let's see if he can play now. It's a good signing, though. We needed the DE depth for at least the next three weeks.

I wonder if we thought we might trade Dax to some team who needed a returner? Weird that they'd keep him on the roster and then put another player at the same position on the PS. Maybe they know he's going to get claimed?
