Great expectations. Dak struggling . . . whole team struggles . . . whole team is criticized and blamed . . . Dak taps out again . . . team plays tough and with heart again . . . misses playoffs by 1 or 2 games . . . some fans wonder why they didn't play good all season . . .

Rinse repeat for the next 4 years

If they play with the heart they have shown the last few weeks....and we manage to stay healthy..... I see some contract restructured, Tank and Martin walking...Jerry will bring in a few above average FAs and will make one big splash to appease the masses. I see, 10 to 12 wins and a close second round playoff game that can go either way. I'll tell you more, in 13 months.
They will play with "heart" if and when Dak is on the bench. . . when he is behind center not so much

All we can hope for is that Dak taps out early in the seaeon

Lads, next season looks grim. That is, if 2025 follows script of doing little in FA and in trades as in this season.

Some points for we handsome blokes and blokettes to consider:

*Our O line shows signs of stagnation, though the young ones show promise. Nothing good or great.
*Our triplets are now Dak/Lamb/Dowdle. A far cry from the original triplets.
*Our D? It is anchored by Parsons, Bland and Diggs. After that, the talent level drops to journeyman and never-were's.
*Special teams? We have the best in the NFL!!!
*Coaching is a mystery. But whether McCarthy resumes his Abrahamic slog through also-ran territory or Yoda wises up and hires Jon Gruden, next season won't be pretty.

With this in mind, I foresee another collapse or a middling season. No playoffs and another lousy draft pick at No. 15.

I expect 8-9.

What are your expectations, cerebral and lovable fans?
If we have a similar offseason, I will be watching fewer games next year. I'll still be here because I will still be up to date on a daily basis. I am just not going to ruin a perfectly good Sunday because of Jerry Jones.

2025 results would seem to depend heavily upon Dak and Diggs returning to form, along with other factors. If Mac returns, a new OC will probably be hired. Zimmer is replaced with a younger DC, maybe Harris. Except a couple shiny new toys on offense to be drafted and D largely addressed by bargain basement FAs. I expect Guyton to return as starting LT instead of moving him to RT and upgrading both OT positions.

Stop by the BS...this is real football, with real paychecks. It's not Middle School or Madden. You guys need to pull your heads out and grow up. Dak isn't all that, I get it...but to say players quit on him is juvenile, ignorant and lazy.

Look at the list of guys who will be free agents. If Jerry does this offseason what he did last offseason, 2025 will be worse than 2024. At least we got a lot of injuries out of the way this year. Maybe next year will be healthier.

Nothing if we run it back and no changes or participate in FA. You can put a suit on a pig but guess what you still got.

Similar to this season. The top teams in the NFC will also take steps to improve. No reason to believe Jerry Jones will figure out a way to improve the Cowboys anymore than other franchises improve theirs. A 3rd place schedule may result in additional win.
