Great expectations. Dak struggling . . . whole team struggles . . . whole team is criticized and blamed . . . Dak taps out again . . . team plays tough and with heart again . . . misses playoffs by 1 or 2 games . . . some fans wonder why they didn't play good all season . . .

Rinse repeat for the next 4 years

That brings 28 years of memories.

I can only pass to my 1st read. Progressions? What progressions man, they were playing zone and I don't do zone. Too many questions, not enough answers.

Injuries to Dak, Diggs, Overshown, Martin, Williams, Lawrence and Parsons this year makes me think that the best we can do is 7-9 wins.

Why? Every year I expect a major injury besides Dak. Who is next on the docket in 2025? I expect middle of the road with the talent, players coming off injury and the injuries that are inevitable.

- Team does zero in FA again.

- Team waits until July or August to sign Parsons, because they do not want to create any cap space at the start of FA because it makes their argument that they are cap poor look insane.

- Dak is back and is his up and down self

- Team wins 7-8-9 games, maybe squeaks into the playoffs where they will get manhandled yet again.

- Either Philly ends the no back to back divisional winner curse or the Commanders have a great offseason and pass them by. It won't be us winning the NFCE in 2025.

*Our O line shows signs of stagnation, though the young ones show promise. Nothing good or great.
*Our triplets are now Dak/Lamb/Dowdle. A far cry from the original triplets.
*Our D? It is anchored by Parsons, Bland and Diggs. After that, the talent level drops to journeyman and never-were's.
*Special teams? We have the best in the NFL!!!
*Coaching is a mystery. But whether McCarthy resumes his Abrahamic slog through also-ran territory or Yoda wises up and hires Jon Gruden, next season won't be pretty.

With this in mind, I foresee another collapse or a middling season. No playoffs and another lousy draft pick at No. 15.

I expect 8-9.
