i also don't really care what other teams are doing - i care what we're doing and from a basic overall direction we've got some things doing well, and we've got the biggest position being sat on in a "one-shot" fashion.

This is so typical. No one on this board but Adam does a bit of homework when it gets in the way of a good piss and moan sesssion. For those of us who take the time to look things up or recap PC's, it gets really tiresome that people put so little effort into things. In that way it is worse than Extremeskins. All I asked for was a list of 5 teams and you couldn't provide it for me. It wouldn't have taken half as long as the long winded diatribe you just put us all through.

Teams playing for 1 year do not leave $10 million in unused cap space.
Teams playing for 1 year do not break camp with 10 rookies.
Teams playing for 1 year do not have so many 1st and 2nd year players seeing significant playing time.
Teams playing for 1 year do not go with a rookie 6th round draft pick at right tackle instead of signing a veteran like Scott Gragg if given the opportunity.
Teams playing for 1 year do not trade down for a future 1st round draft pick.
