Ducks are birds. They are also called "waterfowls" because they are normally found in places with water

Death Season to not only Wade but ...........

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is not just a death season for Wade Phillips......I truly believe this season is vital for both Romo and Garrett. I will go one step further on the Romo Situation and tell you if he fails to take the Boyz to the Playoffs and Win at least one Game, his season is a failure and going further maybe the end of his starting QB Position with Dallas. I just feel at that point the Owner, Coaching Staff, Media and everyone else's Grandmother would realize with proven results that Tony Romo simply doesn't have the Leadership Qualities to lead the Dallas Cowboys to a higher level. Now in saying this barring Injury, staying healthy the kid out of Texas A&M, Stephen McGee does possess the Confidence and leadership ability to do what Romo might not be able to accomplish. I actually believe that McGee if he stay's healthy might have a better NFL career than Stafford.

Please post your responses regarding the Romo situation. Does others feel as I do or am I jumping the Gun a little?

It is Romo's season to prove what he really has got, but there is no way this guy will be cut or traded next offseason. Jerry does'nt throw money in the trash after 3 seasons (67mill btw). Most qb's take more then three years to develope but i think if he stinks it up this year and next year offseason of 2011 is when he's handed the slip from Jerry, But as of now get that idea out of you're head. IT'S NOT A MAKE OR BREAK SEASON FOR ROME.

Romo is here and will almost definitely be our starting QB for at least another 3 seasons. We are paying him too much and don't have a replacement.

Wade pretty much has to go to the NFC Championship game and not lose in an embarrassing fashion to keep his job. He might stay around if the defense puts in a historic year and the offense lets us down, but that's a bit of a longshot.

After last season I've become quite critical of Garrett, but I think it will take quite a bit for him to get the boot as well. Jerry is paying him quite a bit and he's been Jerry's guy from the first day he was hired. Also, he's well liked around the league as he was a respectable backup, an Ivy League Grad, and the son of a long time, well respected coach and scout. Garrett also seems to have quite the faculty for blaming others and convincing the right people that they are to blame. It wouldn't surprise me if the defense plays great, the offense stumbles in crucial times and Garrett convinces Jerry and Stephen that either Romo or Wade or Roy Williams was the problem.

Strangely, I still hold onto the belief that all 3 of these guys can get it done, but something always prevents that.

Wades gone unless the team goes deep in the playoffs. Garrett depends on which way the wind (Jerry) blows. Romo is gonna be around awhile. He is no more at fault than anybody else for late season problems. Besides Kitna not a long term answer, and McGee unknown and wont be ready.

A nearby town is celebrating 30 years of hosting the duck races. Here is their logo for this year. (Hos knows something about this).

Well, I did have to cross a small pond to reach the Judge Roy Scream.

I wonder if a duck habitat had ever been located there.:)
