Nice avatar...what was that loser coache's name? Yeah, great management!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is not just a death season for Wade Phillips......I truly believe this season is vital for both Romo and Garrett. I will go one step further on the Romo Situation and tell you if he fails to take the Boyz to the Playoffs and Win at least one Game, his season is a failure and going further maybe the end of his starting QB Position with Dallas. I just feel at that point the Owner, Coaching Staff, Media and everyone else's Grandmother would realize with proven results that Tony Romo simply doesn't have the Leadership Qualities to lead the Dallas Cowboys to a higher level. Now in saying this barring Injury, staying healthy the kid out of Texas A&M, Stephen McGee does possess the Confidence and leadership ability to do what Romo might not be able to accomplish. I actually believe that McGee if he stay's healthy might have a better NFL career than Stafford.
Please post your responses regarding the Romo situation. Does others feel as I do or am I jumping the Gun a little?
GimmeTheBall!;2844570 said:Not much to do in College Station?
and you really forsee McGee stepping into Romo's spot? Next year?
McGee is a mutt. He is camp fodder. Nothing else.
CowboyMike;2844599 said:McGee is many years away from starting anywhere, if he ever does.
But he is hardly a mutt. And he is very far away from being camp fodder. He's going to be on this roster come opening day, and he'll be groomed to become our primary back up, maybe eventual trade value, or yes, maybe eventually our starter.
DallasDomination;2844812 said:Romo has about 2 more season to show he can take us to the promise land. He has all the talent to do it, so nobody should just throw him under the bus. But now He really has no excuses. t.O is gone and we'll see what He can do after a bad season. If We dont reach the playoffs again then the following year He would be on THIN ICE and probably a deciding year for his future with the cowboys.
I dont even want to talk about this mcgee Qb we have...He's raw but that's it. We win no more then 5 game with him at the helm.

Marino never won them a superbowl, but yet did you ever consider yanking him before age did him in?

Yeah, Jerry gets SO MUCH credit on this board for those 3 ringsYakuza Rich;2844879 said:Jerry's 3 Super Bowl rings to Vinny's zero and Dan Snyder's zero say differently.

Smack talk about this time of year is really old, can't wait for the season, and let the cards fall where they may.
