There's stud receivers in every draft these days.

Why give up multiple picks and an immediate 20-25m a year contract for one?

GB and KC got it right.

We wouldn't know how to use him and Zeke would instantly become a headache because he'd have 2 players at that point eating into his carries.

Thats not true because Deebo made it known that he doesn't want to frequently run the ball as much as Kyle Shanahan had him running.

I cant imagine Jerry parting with picks these days. I also can't imagine what type of compensation they are looking for. Lol

I mentioned this earlier. He wants to be a WR and he wants a paycheck. HE stated that.

FRISCO - San Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel apparently still wants to be traded. And instead of showing up at his team’s OTAs, he just showed up in Dallas….

Hanging out, at least for a moment, with Cowboys QB Dak Prescott.

Samuel is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is hoping to be paid top dollar before the start of the 2022 season.

Additionally, it appears that Samuel likes the idea of being associated with the Cowboys as earlier this off-season he “liked” a tweet suggesting he make his way to America's Team.

What to make of “Deebo in Dallas”?

Deebo just went to the NBA game. That is why he was in Dallas. It is all bs.

No one in their right mind should want to play for the Cowboys.
That is bs. A bunch of players would love to play for the Cowboys. Why would think something like that? One would think that you aren't in your right mind.

Suddenly, the Eagles invented more cap space, and we were minutes away from pulling off the deal.

LOL, I'd love to see the Eagles try it. They just signed A.J Brown. If they signed Deebo, both would be a big cap hit on the same year, 2024. Over 50M in cap space for two WRs.

That makes a lot of sense. Why not use this as an opportunity if you're him?

They would never trade him here and they wouldn't do it an turn around and pay him immediately, which would be the point of any trade.

Did he really say that or is that just a rumor? I really don't know which is why I'm asking. Why would someone looking for no less than 25M a year say something like that? That hurts his market value.

So, if we cut Zeke after this year, would that free up enough money to sign Deebo? I can never remember all of the salary cap stuff
But I would imagine that the 49ers would want a crippling number of draft picks in a trade.

You'd need to free up money for 2024 if you signed Deebo today. Not this year or the next.

Cant bench Zeke when he was Daks best body guard pass protector and there is no defined RB3.
Pollard is a very good RB2, but never will become an RB1 on this team.
Why this team ignores such an easy fix at RB3 is frustrating.

Oh please. Zeke isnt paid 18 million to pass protect.

I'm fine with RB2 as long as we have a better RB1. The problem here is our RB2 is better then our RB1. Pollard can handle 12 carries a game and 5 catches. We need another back that can handle the same and do it much better than Zeke.
