Imo its not defenses, its the lack of quality QB play overall in the league. Its why good Qb's get elite money.

The enamoration of running QB's with high potential benefits with low floors is a problem.

Anyone else noticed this week 1...........I know it's early is it possible after all the rule changes favoring offense, that defenses have caught up like they usually do? This is interesting coz if the trend continues.....what impact (if any) it could have on the skyrocketing QB contracts?

It’s just 1 game and the 1st game of the season at that.

I think a lot of it has to do with it being the weakest the QB position has been in forever.

Elway, Farve, Kelly, Aikman, Marino, and Young transitioned to Brady, Rodgers, Manning, and Brees.

Today it’s Mahomes and nobody else.
Hey wait a minute? What happened to your promise? Are you going to own up or not?

“We better start planning our exit from here, bro.

Since we’re going to stop posting if Dak gets extended and all.

And we’re definitely not going to be here laughing and making fun of Dak fans for his failures for however longer he is in Dallas.”

"I've never seen so many losers and quitters in one place since boot camp. There they were fortunately able to cut those losers and send them packing back home to their mommies.

Here, we have to put up with it. And they're everywhere and increasing daily in the numbers. You don't even have to read the threads to see the gloating and the hate over certain players. It's right there in the thread title. This place is full of low life losers who wouldn't make it one day in a fire fight. They quit at the drop of a hat. They give up at the first sign of adversity.

I've tried to put up with it and ignore it but you just can't. It's rampant. There are some great posters here as well. Some really, really great posters. But this place has been overrun by the low life's. The mods tolerate everyone so I don't blame them. They're trying their best. Coming here everyday and seeing all the negativity is just not good for me anymore. It's sad, and depressing.

So I'll be going on vacation for a long time maybe forever. Need to cleanse the soul.

Thats why teams have no choice but to be held hostage to franchise considered QBs in this current era.

You seem rather slow to the dance on this one.
That's what I don't understand. Why would a team feel they are being held "hostage" by an "unproven", or under performing, QB?

Why should a QB be held hostage to a GM that can't build a complimentary team?

He can always go to another team that’s will pay what he wants.
Was Dak being held hostage by the cowboys?

Was Jerry being held hostage with Dak?
I never said he was.
This was my original question.
Go back to my response to the original posters.
And stop answering a question with a question. It’s annoying as hell.
