i don't mind roy williams and this could be very do-able. but i'd rather have fitz. roy just seems to be injured a lot.
yeah me too Fitz is my first choice over any reciever. i like Roy alot though and maybe at a no 2 reciever he wouldn't get hurt as much due to everyone being worried about TO

If it turns out to be chad johnson in some crazy scenario involving either of our first round picks I will be physically ill.

there is no way i can root for chad johnson and T.O.

I have made one exception in tolerating owens, but adding in johnson would be absurd.

I dont think there is a chance in hell he comes here, but if he did I would be appalled.

I don't get the love Bryant Johnson gets on the board. Maybe I'm just unaware of his talents or accomplishments. Help me out.

Well, from my perspective, Bryant Johnson plays with Boldin, Andre Johnson, Pope and Edge. I mean, there are only so many balls to go around.

Here is a 6-3, 215 lb WR who can run, runs good routes, catches the ball and has good experience. His production, in a limited role, is actually pretty decent. What would he be if he were starting? He just finished his 5th season so he's got experience but he's still got several years in front of him. The price for this guy will be much cheaper then for any of the big names. The question for me is how much up side. He's not Boldin or Andre Johnson but that doesn't mean he's not very good. Those two are two of the very best in the league. To me, Bryant Johnson could be an excellent value.

That's what I see in him.

Was deion all over the TO to dallas story.

I remember Irvin was but did not know about Deion being on it.

Of course I did not have NFLN or watched the pre-game show Deion used to be on so I guess I probably just missed it.

Sounds like he might certainly be worth a look.

Well, who are the big WRs that would be UFAs?

Chad Johnson, Roy Williams, Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Johnson.

Bryant Johnson is a guy nobody talks about but he's also an FA. I don't know that Az can keep both Fitz and Johnson. I'd be interested in either one.

Of course, all this assumes that it's a WR we are talking about.
Andre Johnson signed an extension with the Texans. He going nowhere.

Of the likeliest WRs to hit the street, I see Fitz, RW, and then Chad. Also Bryant Johnson is AZ's third receiver and with Boldin and Fitz missing time this year he had an opportunity to do some damage. I don't know that he took advantage.

Fitz tenure in Az is all tied to what they want to do with Boldin who's going to want another big payday himself.

Did he? Didn't know that. He's listed as an UFA but clearly, the info is not as current as it should be.

Thank you WG.

I'd take Fitzgerald over either Williams or Johnson...

Roy would work here, but I think Johnson and Owens would clash...

T.O. and Johnson are like best friends they have stated this on multiple interviews on sirius,etc... Chad Johnson is way better than RWilliams.Who do u double team?

Ocho,Ocho,Ocho!!!!!

Well, I think you also have to look at who is playing QB. I mean, that is a real big part of the problem IMO. Even still, Fitz caught 100 balls this year, Boldin had 71, James had 348 touches, that's a lot of offense to go around.

I don't think Fitz is a possibility due to cap hit, though he'd be my choice.

Is your playstation still on? ;)

I like the idea of bringing in a veteran receiver.

Receivers generally take a few years to really blossom and Dallas needs someone now. I'm not convinced Crayton is a No. 2 (especially how he ended the season), and who knows about Hurd and Austin.

Some of these guys available are very intriguing. It's hard for me to really believe that guys like Roy Williams and Chad Johnson are available.

ABQ's suggestion of Bryant Johnson is interesting. He's been under the radar behind two stars at Arizona and could be a good guy to put out there with Owens.

What's the deal with Jerry Porter? He was a potential star before he got crossed with Al Davis. That franchise can ruin anyone.
