Not only that, play-action was a staple of Norv Turner... He made safeties bite... This guy Garrett, very rarely runs play-action and safeties just sitback all day, taking away the deep route that Garrett kepps forcing the ball to...

Ed Reed was just standing 30 yards back all day. What kind of offensive coordinator lets that happen. At least bring him up.

And he didn't use a single one of those 'adjustments' against the ravens... BTW, he had moments, but he also went back to his old self, almost getting Romo killed...

NO Im saying it takes TIME to become a good NFL Coach. Garrett has very little time as a coach in any level.

So he shouldn't be coaching this team then... Why is he an OC and Asisatnt Head Coach? Brain Stewart got stripped of his duties...

I remember the last time a "Legendary" LB said something like this about our offense. It was 1989... Lawrence Taylor said we had the most "Predictable" offense in the NFL.

I'm glad this game was on NFL network which btw has the best commentary on TV. It was nice hearing Marshall analyze and totally rip on the Cowboys offensive gameplan. It proves the point as to where the problem on this team lies.

We always have 'guys' open... But an OC has to see the whole field... There are guys open on CB blitzes... Defenses do it for a reason...

he's one of those system guys, that sticks with it no matter what, and when he has to adjust, he'll do it enough to where it works, but then goes back to his system

his is a vertical, timing-based passing offense, except for Romo isn't being given the type of time to be successful at it, the guy is just not Aikman, I don't know why Garrett is asking him to run that system

"Open" in the NFL at the end of the play is not really open. It means the play was practically over at that point and the QB was taken out of his read.

We ran effective play-action and, while play-action is simple, effective play-action is not predictable...

Similar comments were made last year. This offense was likened to street-ball by certain commentators. This offense only plays well when they free-lance and they are rushing to get plays off. Like I said, Garrett doesn't systematically attack any defense he is playing against. They play every defense the same way, and as Deion and Faulk pointed out, teams have simply been playing cover-2 man on them all year. Garrett hasn't adjusted.

He is way over his head... People think that because he went to Princeton, he is a bright mind... Uh, Princeton isn't a football school...

Putting all the blame on Garrett is ignorance. Yes, he's part of the problem. But Garrett isn't making the QB throw up jump balls to Ed Reed.

This is even more obvious when you take into account that he has faced probably the 2 best defenses in the NFL back to back.
