Don't know how may of u remember the cowboys in the 70's? But murray running style remind me a lot of duane thomas, he seemed to be able to get 6-7 yards with ease! Just hope j
His head is screwed on better than that great runner.

Funny, but to me he looked a lot like Emmit. I just had that deja vu feeling watching him run against Seattle.

He kind of looked like DeMarco Murray to me.

You know how comparisons always seem to lead to arguments around here. I am sure there are trolls and negative nannies out there just waiting for any hint of weakness to make their move.

Next thing you know we will be comparing Romo to ... oh, never mind. :D

I hated this guy as a Cornhusker fan...he killed us every time we played them. The kid should never have dropped to the 3rd round. What a steal. Sorry Felix, and I realize this kind of thing is frowned upon in the NFL, but you lost your job due to injury. He's the kind of back that makes something out of nothing. As a Cowboy fan, I will be disgusted if they use him in a lesser role. I wouldn't mind seeing a 2 back set on 3rd downs but this guy is, and should be, here to stay.

With the physical ability he has shown I dont think he is going to fall off unless he just loses his desire to play and has a Roy Williams moment.

Murray is definately impressing me each game and i'm glad we got him. If he can continue to improve and be a factor for us then it's a heck of a steal in the 3rd round.

He didn't really do that much at OU....just

Career Records at University of Oklahoma

All-Time Leader in Points Scored (390)
All-Time Leader in Touchdowns (65)
All-Time Leader in All Purpose Yards (6,718)
All-Time Leader in Receiving Yards for a Running Back (1,571)

After following Adrian Peterson up as the lead back

I'm glad we had him, especially against your guys. We needed him. I can still picture Suh eating Landry for breakfast. Scary dude.

I'm just really happy that Demarco was drafted by my 'Boys; and it's great seeing the way he has come on the last 3 games. He's just a humble, hard-working guy and would be the last person to toot his own horn so to speak. Crazy to think he's already 13th in rushing with 5 less starts.

People always talk about a complete back, and they usually mean a guy who can run, catch, and pass protect. Murray is all those things, but he's also a complete back in that he has good speed, size, power, and agility. You just don't get all of that in one guy usually. He's surely looking like he's going to be a very good back for us, but of course these things take time to develop, and consistency becomes the key.

I don't see it. Different body types and running styles. Certainly different attitudes.

Loved the pick when we got him, and it love it even more now.

Murray was super productive in college, and had pro skills. No way he should have lasted til the 3rd Round.

The teams who took RB's before Murray have to be killing themselves right now.
Saints-Mark Ingram 1st round
Cardinals- Ryan Williams 2nd Round
Lions- Mikel LeShoure 2nd Round
Dolphins- Daniel Thomas 2nd Round
Patriots- Shane Vereen 2nd Round

All those guys have injury issues, and its not fair to judge those picks yet.But Murray has been injured also.

Just scary to think about Murray with the Saints, Lions, or Patriots.

First Emmitt, now Thomas. Tomorrow he'll be compared to Perkins or (gasp) Les Shy.
