Do you really think Ware has thought about Free being the LT in depth? Then do you really think he has concluded through virtually no reps as the starting LT that Free is not the guy?

If you've answered yes to the prior two questions, and Ware has already concluded Free isn't the guy, why doesn't he say "we gotta draft someone or bring Flo back because Free isn't the guy..."??

I mean you guys would have us believe Ware HAS to know that we all think Free is going to step in. I mean if he's already concluded that Free isn't the guy, like you apparently think, why would he be cryptic about it and not just come out and tell everyone that Free doesn't have it??

Do you think Ware is just being nice and not throwing him under the bus? Then why would Ware give Free NO CHANCE to prove him wrong?

He wouldn't say that for the same reason theebs has said. He's not that kind of guy. If he thought someone wasn't right for the job or incapable he'd just leave their name out of it. I doubt he'd go on the air saying Free wasn't our guy, especially after Jerry has said it.

Then why in the world would such a nice guy make a snap judgment when Free has had ZERO REPS as the starting LT in practice??

**** just got serious.

Gaitherism is still alive!

So you're inferring a meaning from something that wasn't said.

Right?

Actually you only reinforce what dc is saying. If Ware was speaking so highly of Free in that position he'd more than likely not forget to mention him when discussing the LT position and who is going to man it.

Wow. You guys really read between the lines. They could use your skills over in Afghanistan. They need some more cryptographers.

so let me get this straight. one final time.

On april 19, 2009 Demarcus ware does an interview with babe lafuenberg.

During the spring of 09, the biggest story of the offseason was Owens being released, the story surrounding it was that no one could replace him.

The media was all over Roy Williams for not being able to do this, in every sentence we heard from every media member first it was owens and then it was williams.

So during the interview ware voluntarily brings up owens and mentions hurd or austin need to step up, omitting crayton and ROY WILLIAMS.

Yet this is not seen as a diss or whatever.

Now on April 20, 2010 Ware does an interview with espn. During the interview he voluntarily brings up losing flozell and says we need someone to replace him or bring him back...omitting DOUG FREE.

This offseason the big story has been about Flozell being released and having nobody to replace him, the first name that comes out of every media members mouth after adams is Free.

Yet ware doesnt mention free, but he is dissing him because he believes he cant play? This is what I am supposed to believe?

How many people could step up to replace Owens at that time?
How many can step up to replace Adams right now?

Right?

Considering Ware's nature and the fact there is only one candidate to replace Adams at the moment and Ware didn't mention him, even going as far as saying we need to bring Flo back.

Right.

Who was being talked about 24 hours a day as being the replacement? Roy Williams. Who was the number 2 before roy, patrick crayton neither was mentioned.

He didnt mention doug free either. Its the same thing. He is not looking to take shots at anyone.

with the way you guys are portraying he is taking shots at Leonard Davis too, he is also being talked about at left tackle. He wasnt mentioned by ware today either. Did he diss him too?

1 ea - Doug Free
Exactly, so there wasn't many people at all to mention when discussing the next in line, right?

One guy, right?

But who did he mention? Draft and bring back Adams.

With the WR, numerous people could have stepped up.

Which side is in denial in this instance?

Ware says, "Bring back Flo or draft a replacement to protect Romo."

Ware never says, Free has got it covered nor is the guy even a blip on his freaken radar.

U tell me which side is in denial here...

he coulda been playing up the fact that we suck and other teams don't need to worry.

He does that a lot actually, he is a humble dude.

I wish he woulda said "Free aint worth a ****. I love him." then we would know exactly what to argue about...

Try telling that to the rest of these guys.

Cutting Flo is a mistake bottom line. There is no financial reason to cut him and playing Free is a huge gamble for a team that apparently thinks they are a contender.

Tested For Ware, Free To Start

Todd Archer at the Dallas Morning News has reported that Doug Free will get the start at right tackle on Sunday against the visiting Commanders.

Free, a fourth round draft pick in 2007 out of Northern Illinois, has seen limited time since coming into the league and spent a great deal of his young career inactive. He replaced Colombo after the first quarter of last Sunday's loss to Green Bay, after the starter suffered a broken fibula.

Offensive line coach Hudson Houck said that the team tinkered with several options, including moving Leonard Davis to tackle, where he played for a season in Arizona. However, the team opted against making two moves to counteract one injury.

"The best [option] is exactly what we're doing," Houck said today. "[Free] can now zero in on playing just the right side."

The most significant playing time of Free's career thus far was the regular season finale against Washington in 2007, when Dallas had the division and home field advantage secure going into week 17. In this light, DeMarcus Ware has taken to preparing him to face an adept Commanders' defensive front by going against him in practice this week.

"Doug's been going against me every day in practice," Ware said yesterday in the News. "He stops me a lot. He's practiced against Greg [Ellis] when he was here. [Anthony] Spencer, a lot of good pass rushers. To be honest, Doug is really good. I think it's about him getting his confidence and even in practice I told him instead of going against the second-team guy I want to practice against you because you're going to have to go against a good pass rusher.

"I'm going to help to make sure he's ready so it's not going to be anything he hasn't seen. He's going to see the real thing in practice. I'll go over there."

DCFanatic Owned by Ware's mention of Free. Damn. There goes that agenda! Whoops!

Not really since this was alredy posted in here like 90 posts ago.

:laugh1:

And since we all know if he was asked about Free what he would say.

You should stick to the silly conversations.

You do better in those.

Did Flozell practice in the two-a-days for the last two seasons while Free was the swing tackle?
