In the interview on the ESPN release schedule show, not sure if any of you caught it.

They were talking about all the changes in the NFC East and with the Cowboys standing pat. Demarcus brought up losing Flozell and said we have to draft a guy or bring back Flozell because if you can't protect you're QB you're in trouble.

Absolutly no mention of Doug Free. No vote of confidence that he can do the job.

Sorry if you don't think this is a diss, but the fact that Ware says we have to draft or guy or even bring back Flozell speaks volumes.

He could have easily just said that Flo was a big loss but we got guys that can take over.

by the way is this from the espn interview? cause i just caught some of it and hear him say about the minnesota game "to call 911, cause its going to be an emergency." or something along those lines

since when?

You don't think somewhere in the last few years they have ever gotten lined up against each other?

Nothing to worry about IMO. Demarcus has never been the best speaker and probably was just thinking off the top of his head.

*yawn*

I watched the interview and I don't think he said that. I could have missed it, but if that is what he said, I definitely didn't take it that way.

if you're JJ you've got to hedge that bet. Maybe he thinks Bigg is the backup plan if Free can't hack it. But I think you take a tackle early this week whether you believe in Free or not.

Another angle to this is that the Ravens are one of the teams that I keep hearing are supposed to take a TE. Maybe Marty B and a third for Gaither, or Marty B and the Cowboys 4th for the Ravens 3rd or something like that could work out.

Ware also said Jerry is buying stock in CareFlight because emergency usage is going to go up with Free on the left side.

Come on, guys. It's ESPN.

I think you are reading too much into his response. Trey asked him about how everyone else in the NFC East is making huge changes... And Demarcus responds by reminding him of Flozells departure. I dont recall him saying you have to draft a guy or bring flozell back... He said you have to protect the quarterbacks back...

Regarding the 911... Basically, Trey asked him how will it feel to play minnesota after the playoff loss and running up the score... he sighed and said ask me before that game. He will let those feelings simmer and you should call him before that game. Then at the end he made the 911 comment.

My question on that matter which is real strange!

Supposedly there were 3 teams interested in Flozell, including the Commanders, but no one has signed him yet. You have to remember also (which i think might be the holding point on teams signing Flo is that one more violation in NFL like kicking or a fight and he gets a 8 game suspension), teams might be pointing this out to him.

My question is this, what if we can get Flozell back for less money! Have him in for backup and if Free doesnt pan out youve got Flozell.

You could also put flozell in on blocking at field goal attempts, several times in his career he has blocked FG attempts because he is so tall.

The cowboys might be thinking that they can resign Flo and Greg Ellis for low amount of money.

Your thoughts?

Rewatch it.

It's not a huge mystery. He said it.
