I think someones Gaither agenda is twisting how it was said.​

And when Demarcus Ware was talking about the Left Tackle position for the Cowboys he omitted the name Doug Free.

That blurb you posted was an answer to a question about a player on his team. What did you think the answer was going to be? Of course he talked him up.

But in a candid interview on the spot question the name was removed from the equation.

So you don't think it was an issue that when Demarcus Ware brings up the issue of the Cowboys biggest move this offseason being the release of Flozell Adams and then specifically stating that the team should draft someone to watch the QB's backside and never mentioning Doug Free's name a big deal?

In the interview on the ESPN release schedule show, not sure if any of you caught it.

They were talking about all the changes in the NFC East and with the Cowboys standing pat. Demarcus brought up losing Flozell and said we have to draft a guy or bring back Flozell because if you can't protect you're QB you're in trouble.

Absolutly no mention of Doug Free. No vote of confidence that he can do the job.

Sorry if you don't think this is a diss, but the fact that Ware says we have to draft or guy or even bring back Flozell speaks volumes.

He could have easily just said that Flo was a big loss but we got guys that can take over.

If he actually said that, that is pretty scary. I'm hoping that is not what he said. If he just said Flo was great and we'll miss him - that's one thing. But to talk about having to draft someone or bring Flo back....that sure looks like a lack of confidence in Free. Unless his concern is backup LT (my concern with releasing Flo) in case someone goes down, but that would seem to be a stretch based on what he actually said in the quote. I have a hard time imagining him saying that in an interview, but anything's possible.

He does indeed say that and I'm not taking anything out of context at all.

I think Ware is just propping up Flozell more than anything else. I just don't think there is a hidden agenda.

Ware went out of his way to talk about how big a loss it was that we cut Flo. All that was said by Trey Wingo was that we havn't done anything in FA.

He then went out of his way to say that we need to draft someone or bring back Flo because if you can't protect your QB, you're in trouble.

Meanwhile...where's the mention of Free handling the duties? The drafted LT got a mention..Flo got one..
