I'm a Free supporter and even I took Ware's nonresponse as him not thinking Free is the answer. I still think Free has what it takes, but to dismiss this is blind homerism. Has the draft happened or have we played a game yet? I mean, none of us are really sure who will be the starter on opening day. To me, just sounds like he is unsure as of right just like us.

Did he also say to bring Flo back? Yes.

Did the name Doug Free come up in regards to who would be watching Tony Romo's back next season? No.

You can't deny the video. You can't say it was out of context. You can't say someone said Doug Free will be playing Right Tackle so what happens at Left Tackle.

Wingo didn't bring up the Left Tackle position.

Ware did. So obviously he sees that spot as a concern. He sees the release of Flo as a major concern. And has so since the day it happened.

And now you want to ask us to agree that the name Doug Free just left his entire vocabulary altogether as all these issues are being discussed?

I can't see the video right now, cause it's blocked where I work, but what I'm wondering from seeing what Slate has said here is this.

Could it be possible that his mentioning that you've got to draft someone, or bring Flo back, could also be in reference to depth? As it stands, at this point, we'd be likely looking at Free as our only LT and if he gets hurt, then what?

So is it possibly his answer is saying that since we've cut Flo that we've either got to have him back, at a reduced price, or draft someone in order to keep depth on the O-Line?

I'm curious cause out of everything everyone has posted here it seems to be something that no one is talking about is that DWare could just as easily, as anything else, be pointing out the fact that since we cut Flo that we're down to one LT and that his answers are about that and not an indication that he doesn't think Free can do the job.

I don't know cause I haven't seen the video but it seems, like I said from what people have posted here, that it's just as likely that he's talking about depth in relation to the LT spot as he is about rather Free can man the LT spot.

I am seriously curious as to what people think about this possibility. It's been lost in the shuffle here tonight but I'm quite curious if anyone had given this some thought as to what DWare was talking about.
