Demarcus Lawerence on leaving Cowboys: I know for sure I'm never going to win a SB there

I'm going to be honest, I'm really surprised about the stuff I'm hearing from his teammates. Seems he was not well liked in the locker room. I never really got that vibe.

Most of the time Bobby comes off as a twit, a weasel, a smug know it all that wants to show you his prowess,of which is highly questionable. But in this topic, I believe him. He has no reason to embellish. He's reporting the truth in my opinion. It's pretty brave of him to do considering the backlash he could get. Ty for posting this video.
I don’t really see the bravery angle. It actually comes off as cowardly. He’s basically saying he knew there were issues between Lawrence & Parsons as far back as the GB playoff loss and that he knew McCarthy had a culture problem. But he doesn’t bother to report any of that until MM is out of town and the Lawrence/Parsons beef has been brought to light. He then wraps it all in a nice bow by saying this is why BS is such a great hire. I know he gets paid to shill so I am not holding that against him but this just seems like your standard carrying of the franchise’s water and not anything TPTB would have a problem with him saying.

Someone might wanna tell demarcus that HE was tasked with winning a chip too. He was part of the failures. He left that out. I'm tired of entitlement like this, as if he had nuthin to do with why we never won. He will be injured again this year and retire next.
Yes he was a part of the problem, but this problem has been running for 30 years and there’s one common denominator ( or two if you count Stephen) in all of that.
No one player is going to shift the dial!

Oh don't get me wrong. Dude is one of those passive aggressive so called football experts. Just ask him lol. Not a fan of the guy . But the brave thing I said is the fact that he could actually lose his job over this. I don't care for him or his tactics because he's seedy. But I don't wanna see anyone lose there job. While I called it brave, MAYBE some things should be left alone. Let others expound on them.

That would be true. I guess we don't know for sure. I would think we would have heard about an offer being made if they were interested, like their interest in Odighizuwa was made clear before FA began. Of course, Lawrence could have told them long ago that he would leave. ... I just believe it was about the money, because it's almost always about the money.
You’re right, if it wasn’t money then he wouldn’t have met with the Cowboys prior to FA as was reported.

Part of the culture is also the local Dallas media. You just kinda said it.

yep; flapping your gums when you have never done anything is classless

that is why those that only talk are the jokes

and mouthing off is always a sign of lack of class

and no not everyone his age is making fools of themselves on the internet
52 sacks, 3 all pros, finishing top 3 for dpoy 3 years in a row--all in his first 4 years--is 'doing nothing'?!

Micah is on a HOF trajectory, and you're mad cause he doesn't hold back on social?

I respect the hell out of him. It's not only fun (people forget that this sport isn't the army), but Micah is building a strong brand and setting himself up for a career after football. Even if you don't like his personality, you can at least admire his intelligence and ambition.

There is no player over the last 10 years more responsible for the pathetic state of the defense and the lack of accountability and leadership. He could be a great piece on a great defense if you had real champions all around him. Actually he would probably end up still acting like a turd and Ray Lewis would flush him down the toilet.

Little insight from Bobby Belt. You can fast forward to 2:15.

this guy is the master at discussing something after it's become public and then saying he knew it all along. What kind of a reporter is that? Grow a pair and report what you know, when you know it. And when you're working, stop wearing Cowboys gear. It's bad form for someone with your duties.

Absolutely NOT! It's the freaking truth and I'm so sick and tired of that being the Elephant in the room that nobody wants to mention. The fans deserve to hear it too. Some of these freaking fans actually think they have a chance and you can't tell them otherwise. It's just sickening!!
It is mocking those players that are under contract to the Cowboys. I doubt his new Seahawks teammates are impressed with his expressing his sentiments about his recent employer.

I don't see this as disrespectful Don't you think that the players get tired of working their butts off and Jerry Not bringing in any help.
Sure he should have said something but we don't know if he did or not.
This is a Job for these players.
The thing that stings is He is right as long as Jerry is at the helm we will not see another SB.

I disagree, it was disrespectful in the timing and context and manner he said it - very much a stick it to Dallas comment.

That being said, he's likely got justification for the statement but it was a bit classless and I expected something different - he could have stopped at Dallas is mu home and I was thankful for the time there, looking forward to trying to win a superbowl in Seattle....

It just validates what I've always thought of him.

Just a low class POS and one of the most entitled players you'll ever come across.
......but he ain't lying.

If this doesn't convince the homers that the FO is mismanaged, nothing will. Tank is saying what the rest of the players aren't allowed to.

Its kind of like somebody finding fraud, graft and waste and getting mad at the person who found it instead of the entity perpetrating it

Don’t like the dirty laundry being aired when a guy leaves. Bad look. But it does show that players won’t come here to play because this organization is a clown show. Players talk to each other. FA know the Jones don’t c be value winning

What he's saying is, "I know there are two ways to stay relevant when leaving the spotlight in Dallas. Either win like D. Ware or talk trash about the Cowboys like D. Shultz...I aint winning in Seattle soooooo"
