If anything it could of been worse and a season ending injury, for now I wish him the best in his recovery too comeback and do his thing 8-10 weeks from now

This will hold him back in terms of on field preparation that he probably won't be much of a factor this year. A rookie needs camp and the preseason.

And that the point. The new CBA has impacted the game negatively because of limited exposure by team trainers and fewer practices.

No but with this D being so so bad last year they cant afford to have injuries on that side of the ball and guess what, thats where they are coming, I could see this D giving up 30+ a game at this point easy

I guess the good news is he won't sustain a season ending injury before the season starts. I'm more optimistic about the defense for a lot of reasons but no one will really know until they play the games.

It happens. If he returns in week 4-5 of the season, this just means he has no shot of being a starter this year. However, little impact on him being used as a situational pass rusher. Next man up.

it's depressing, not because it means something bad about Lawrence and his NFL future. He's just the only legitimate potential weak side presence this team has with their pass rush. Almost any other DL on the roster and I wouldn't care.
