DeMarcus Lawrence injured - possible broken foot

Where is the pass rush coming from now? Crawford....time for this years Selvie to introduce himself.

It happens. If he returns in week 4-5 of the season, this just means he has no shot of being a starter this year. However, little impact on him being used as a situational pass rusher. Next man up.

So missing almost all of camp and the entire preseason should have little effect on a player's ability to contribute as a pass rusher the first year?

those of you that expect A Spencer to play again

Dallas Cowboys DE Anthony Spencer (knee) is on the field running as he continues to come back from microfracture knee surgery, but he is not sure when he will be able to practice. "It's one thing to be able to run and then another whole thing to play football, so I've got a little ways to go," Spencer said. "But it's progress and that's basically what I've been showing this whole time."

is a joke we won't see him in Dallas UNI

Lawrence was a bad pick any ways IMO

Sign English and keep it moving. Wish the kid didn't get injured but I honestly have been of the opinion that next draft we go RDE in the 1st anyway. Hope #90 can be a player but truly view him as a rotational guy. If I'm wrong...great...if I'm not...oh well, draft one next season anyway. Draft will be deep at that spot too.

Next man up. Good luck in rehab #90.

Have to agree, I never liked Lawrence as much more than a spot relief DE anyway, we should draft a real RDE next season not a swing DE with a lack of rundown speed.

I'm pretty sure this is just par for the course for us not sure why everyone is surprised that a player Jerry over reached for gets injured a few days into camp.

Lee is out, D-Law goes down, Melton will probably miss time, Church, yada yada yada. It all doesn't matter since our multiple back-surgery QB will most likely miss considerable time after getting breathed on by the 9ers in week 1.

****. That is all.

Well the bright side is that the defense will be the same, or maybe better this year. Can't get worse than #32 lol

Well heck. Wake up, open the Zone, see the bad news. Grr.

But the real tragedy here is that Jerry missed a gold mine by not live streaming the foot X-rays / diagnosis for a subscription.

Lack of rundown speed? Go watch some film on Lawrence.

This will hold him back in terms of on field preparation that he probably won't be much of a factor this year. A rookie needs camp and the preseason.

We just need to thank our lucky stars we've got George Selvie.

I understand that, I couldn't wait too see him because like you said by the news and everything I thought he would be prepared for it now all this will hold him back, I just like that we will actually see him this year and not until next year, he's young so when he gets back I'm sure he will be as excited as everyone hopefully there isn't much of a hold back, and he gets too show us something, maybe not first game back but 2nd or 3rd game back when he's back in football shape and gets a feel for the game.

It was well known he has tenacity but he is bad in pursuit, I watched 3 games worth of snaps on him before the draft 2 I think from 2012 and one from 2013, Several posters commented on it the same slow pursuit and scouting reports too.
