DeMarcus Lawrence injured - possible broken foot

Karma is a ***** (well you know). So many posters were on here the last couple of days talking crap about how DWare and Hatcher were injured and now look... Our own people are dropping like flies. Don't misunderstand. I was all for getting rid of Ware's contract and Hatcher's upcoming contract as well but I don't ever like to point and say.. nya ya na na nah na! Because that will come back and bite you every time... Superstitious? Sure but tell me I'm wrong.

Have to agree, I never liked Lawrence as much more than a spot relief DE anyway, we should draft a real RDE next season not a swing DE with a lack of rundown speed.

He has to be a "real" right side DE or this is a horrible pick.

You don't blow a 2nd and 3rd rounder on a guy that is a part time player.

Well I wasn't talking crap about them why do I get karma?

When your team is full of holes, you don't draft for need only. You get as many players as you can. Jerry and crew never seem to understand that. They lie to themselves and keep thinking "we are just one player away from competing".

Looks like we will have a decent offense and horrible defense again.

This is bad but I'm not sure we should be relying on or gnashing teeth over a guy who we hadn't seen and who many scouts said needed development in strength and who lacked some speed. If he was the key to not being worse D, then the team did themselves a disservice.

And that's the way it is every year. I don't know why everybody's that surprised. This team gets hit by the injury bug every year. This defense can't afford to lose anybody especially one of your top draft picks.

He's going to be back by week 4. Let's not act as if his rookie year is now a wash. Being a 3rd down rusher this year anyway means he can come back quicker since he just needs to be able to run and use flexibility to come off the edge.

Yup, this is why we are mediocre every single year. I wasn't surprised. I had zero expectations for the team this year.

It was well known he has tenacity but he is bad in pursuit, I watched 3 games worth of snaps on him before the draft 2 I think from 2012 and one from 2013, Several posters commented on it the same slow pursuit and scouting reports too.

I saw the guy track down QBs very well and not get faked out like so many of our guys have been in the past.

No kidding. They were in, what, their second padded practice? We had no idea if this guy could even play yet.

Yea, one should never rejoice in another teams injuries. Never.

Note to self... "Do not take the Dallas defense in fantasy football".

lol.... I was going to go for Demarco Murray in the 2nd round of the draft but not anymore. Dallas will be playing from behind a lot. This makes Romo and Dez very attractive.

I think that's the way this team looked even before this injury.
