The worst GM in the NFL has been the GM of this team for 20+ years ONLY because jerry is the owner

A high school HC had been the HC of this team for 6 years training to be a HC ONLY because jerry is the owner

A person with no experience/training in player personnel is the director of that ONLY because jerry is the owner

No accountability
No discipline
Continued mediocrity

Jason may eventually 'learn' to become a halfway competent HC but he will have ruined the careers of several cowboys who should have won championships

I won't argue with you for a second that his learning destroyed the early years of Romo. Sad. And JJ destroyed his whole career. Even more sad.

I can't argue with anything in your reply, Visionary, as I was once a staunch opposer of JG. He's proven to be around above-average, for me, the last three years. I want to see what he does this season with this juggernaut offense.

I will say, one-and-done in the playoffs won't be acceptable anymore. But I'll worry about that if/when it happens.

That's true but a lot of people thought he was going to be an above average QB. The Cowboys did have a need at that time because Romo really wasn't proven enough. 2 probowl QB's, It would have been a good problem to have

I don't think anybody thought Rogers was going to be as great as he was back then. And Rogers has won only one SB. There's no guarantee that he would have won any in Dallas.

Parcells DID walk on water...in many respects. But I agree his college player talent evaluations weren't his strong suit.

Really? Spears, Brady James, Canty. All Parcells hand picked. As well as Fasano, James Martin ( bust) and the best Carpenter. Bill may have been overruled at times, but he had the clout.

And you'll notice I rarely attack JG during the season when we're winning. I go after him when we're losing or after another bad playoff loss. If the guy starts winning playoff games I swear I'll give him credit.
